This Lemon-Grape hits the spot. Not only does it taste great. I love the focus and energy I get without any jitters.
I received this product a few days ago (Feb.2021) and used it twice so far. Personally, i love it! Whoever says its grainy and doesnt mix well, wrong! You need a shaker bottle with a ball inside the shaker and add plenty of cold water, i also add my vital protein unflavored collagen to it as well. It def gives me more mental clarity and energy to do my workouts, i do have plenty of other good ones to switch off but right now im sticking with this, i do recommend buying but just lemon grape, i have no interest in the other flavors. I will purchase again when i get low.
I am overall happy with this product and have since reordered and definitely will continue. I attended the free seminar 2 months ago and Jen (I believe that was her name) explained in detail all 3 of the performance options and ingredients etc. I take collagen and also just started weight training again so I thought why not. This flavour was recommended and I went with it because all the others had stark contrasting reviews. I honestly would not have reached for this flavour on my own accord but it is fine. Definitely not bad at all. I drink it with room temperature water in my shaker bottle and it works out just fine. It helps sustain my workouts and gives me energy I have started only doing 1 scoop instead of the recommended 2. It doesn't necessarily give jitters but I don't need a lot of caffeine to get me going. When I do 2 scoops and have teas and stuff through out the day it is too much. I know it is by weight etc and your not getting jibbed but if VP is seeing this make the containers smaller then or fill it up also would be great to have an option to not have a plastic scoop when ordering... less plastic.
I'm a longtime consumer of VP's Collagen Peptides for my joint health, and was super excited to find out the company was launching a Performance based line. If you're looking for an effectively dosed pre-workout with all the necessities (citrulline, creatine, betaine, and more), this is a the perfect choice! I love the clean label and ingredients with no proprietary blends included in the formula. Unlike many pre-workouts you'll see on the market today, Vital's Pre also has zero chemical sweeteners and artificial colors. The icing on the cake is that VP's collagen is included with all of these ingredients! Overall, this product gets my mind, muscles, and joints primed and ready to perform. The taste is great too, with Lemon Grape being my favorite so far- think of it as a cleaner tasting version of what most consider a "sports drink". Thank you Vital for continuing to push the envelope in this industry!
i bought this in a bargain bin and figured even if it was bad i would get my money's worth. really surprised that it's better than any of the top shelf pre workout i've tried. i don't feel it working but my improvements are as much as ten-fold so i'm ordering another container of Vital Performance guava lime with alpha GPC this week. i don't usually leave reviews and it's rare that i have any loyalty to a brand but this was a game changer
My experience with the Vital Performance Pre has been stellar! I personally didn't use a pre-workout before trying this product and now I take this product before all my workouts. It prepares and energizes my body to get through tough workouts. It's perfect for aggressive big workouts to small simple workouts. This is also my favorite flavor! I love the taste of grape and really believe in this product's effectiveness.
Great focus and endurance out of this product and the natural sweeteners is a plus. I also love how I don't need to add any BCAAs to it as it has the full 5 grams in it.
The taste is very strong and bitter, but the performance was good and no jitters afterward
I tried this for the first time today and this taste like Robitussin cough syrup and collagen. I gagged the drink down quickly and proceeded to gag for the next 30 minutes. I hardly got through my workout. It's going in the trash. I did feel a little more energy but almost vomited from the taste. Yuck!
This is specifically for the watermelon/blueberry. I haven't tried any other flavor. This is the most disgusting thing that I have ever ingested. I gagged after every sip and I couldn't finish it. One time when I was 16 I drank half a bottle of banana rum with no chaser. I would rather drink that again than take one more sip of this awful substance. How did this even make it onto shelves? This is the worst purchase I have ever made in my life. You guys should be paying me for the pain and suffering I have endured. I literally licked my arm to get the taste out of my mouth because I didn't have any water or snacks to save me. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS.
