If you need a fast processor, and you don’t want to drop an extra $100 for the i9, this processor will do everything you need it to without problem. I would recommend it over the i3 and i5, and also the AMD processors except for the elite versions, and those cost more than a 3rd world country’s entire GDP for a year. FHIS is the best price for performance processor on the market.
I’ve been playing league of legends since release never above 60fps upgraded my 8700k. Thanks to great minds at Intel.
It is a fast CPU but has some issues. Even with a high end Corsair liquid cooler and a contact frame installed this chip runs super hot. I had to down clock just to get temps to run 80c or lower. If I pay $631 for a computer part I expect it to work properly and not hit 100-103c. Put my 12th gen i9 back in and gets similar performance to what I had to down clock this CPU to to run cool. Don't waste your money
intel's pushing their processors too hard in bios and the keep giving video memory errors
