Having these speakers on my Road King has been great. I appreciate the self-contained amp and clear sound even at 70mph. While lacking in bass, adjusting phone settings to "bass speakers" improves the experience. They held up well in heavy rain and stayed secure after 2,000 miles. Overall, Boss did a commendable job with these speakers.
I found the installation on my 2008 Road King to be easy. I had to trim and tuck wires due to a +/- wire coming from the headlight plug. The sound is very loud with decent bass. It's recommended to use your phone's equalizer for the best sound quality. The speaker fits a wide range of bar sizes with multiple inserts. Overall, I am extremely happy with my Boss Audio speaker.
I am an avid rider who wanted music for my bike without spending a lot. I took a chance on these speakers and they have impressed me. They held up well in heavy rain and hail. Despite being caught in rain multiple times, they still work like new. I have them mounted on my bike and they sound good up to 60 mph without a windshield and 85 mph with a windshield. Great speakers for the price!
