This item is fantastic at what it does. it is easy to use and the charge last for a very long time. Cuts paper, cardboard, etc. with ease.
I gave this a five star rating because with the exception of the battery, this tool is almost identical to one made by Skil for more than 5 years. Mine is a wonderful tool for opening boxes and also those clear, hard plastic containers which so many items are packaged in these days. It cuts through those like a hot knife going through butter. I've owned mine for over five years, still have the original blade in it, and it's still sharp.
I saw this cordless "nipper" and I immediately thought it would be great for multiple tasks that I hate doing. The first is reducing packing boxes to something more manageable and easier than the way I usually break them down. It works great!! I also use it to open all sorts of things like large envelopes I get in the mail to grocery items. I love this tool!
this is very handy for me because i have nerve damage in my hands. it is very hard hold any other kind or tools
I have been a customer of WORX for several years. Most of my tools hanging on the wall are WORX. My recent purchase of the ZipSnip is great. I've had a pile of cardboard that needed broken down. The ZipSnip was a valuable tool to cut the cardboard with ease. Looking forward to my next WORX product
I bought this to make it easier and faster to break down the big pile of cardboard I'd been accumulating. Getting it all in the recycling bin meant hours of slow, dangerous work with a utility knife. This little sucker got me through the pile in an hour.
I could not ever go without this tool ! I use it almost daily. I do receive a lot of packages/boxes. It just makes it almost fun to break boxes down. I NEVER thought I'd EVER say that. I use it to open those hard plastic packages. I use it to cut cloth material. Let's just say. I use it for anything that needs cut. I love this tool! But then, I love ALL Worx products!
For anyone that works with fiberglass, especially boat builders, this little gem ACTUALLY works quite well. Cuts 1.5oz matt and even 1708 with ease an leaves a clean edge too.
Purchased this to replace regular fabric shears for cutting polypropylene webbing for debris control. The regular shears required constant replacement/sharpening, were slow and created arm/wrist fatigue in employees. The ZipSnip shears performed very well with much reduced operator fatigue, accurate cut paths and very low blade replacements. A minor annoyance is the tiny connector for the charger. The connector should have been bigger.
Underpowered, Slow, Weak. For thin cardboard it's fine but still slow cutting. For thick carboard it struggles especially if there is tape on the box. Take a lot of force to push it through thick cardboard making it a job. Often found it much easier to simply rip the cardboard rather than use this tool.
