This Equate Children's Medical Dosing Oral Syringe is so convenient and easy to use! I absolutely love the guided measurement system. I have 6 children and this makes sure I get the proper dosage for each of my young children. The base shows the measurement dose and you just turn it until it is pointing to the arrow and then draw the medicine up. It stops once it reaches the selected dosage. Then administer and rinse and clean it. It is so simple and accurate. I would definitely recommend this item!
As a parent of three children, I am very familiar with who is trying to find the medicine dropper that came with the medicines before this dropper is great to have on hand for medicines for children and adults like for my have a difficult time drinking from the medicine cups it’s bright and colorful design makes it easy to spot amongst other utensils in the kitchen!
This i was very excited for as a mom of 4 little ones i use this alot. This one is great because you can set it for the amount you need of medicine and it will lock at that amount and stop once it gets to the correct amount so not giving too much or too little. I always use to just use the syringes they give you when you buy the meds but this is so much easier with little ones.
I really like this medicine dosing oral syringe for children by Equate, it is cleverly designed and very helpful for me as a parent! I love the convenience and ease of use, all you have to do is look up the correct dosage for your child on the medication packaging, then select that number on the dial on top of the syringe by turning the dial to align the number with the arrow on the side. This will allow the syringe to only fill with exactly that amount, which is great! So much less hassle and less messy than having to measure with little caps or regular syringes where I often used to accidentally fill it with too much medicine and had to put it back into the container. I would definitely highly recommend this dosing syringe, it's a must have and I wish I would have found it much sooner! Great product!
This medicine dispensing syringe is perfect for giving babies and kids their medicine. It makes it easy to suck up the exact does into it that is needed. It has bright readable marking on the end and barrel as well. It makes giving my Kids their meds much easier than trying to use a spoon or little medicine cup.
I absolutely love this children's medicine syringe. It's definitely my new holy grail. Love the dosing measurements imprinted on on it. It allows for exact and precise dosing each use. It is also easy to clean and store. The quality of this dosing syringe is great also. I'd highly recommend this.
i love that it stops exactly on the the amount you choose and it is multi purpose not just for baby meds
This dispenser is great to have on hand for giving medicine. My 4 year old still will not willingly take any type of medicine. We have to resort to this syringe style to get the medicine in her. This one was easy to use, had clear measurement labels, and was also easy to clean. Overall it's great to keep on hand.
I like the simplicity of the design. It works great for standard dosing but the problem is a lot of dosing is based on weight and if your kid is outside of that standard dosing … this won’t work. For example if you needed 3.75 ml, you wouldn’t be able to measure it with this syringe. Also, you have to unscrew the orange top to open it up for cleaning.
I'm pretty disappointed they changed the design. I use this for giving my kids their oral medicine, like Tylenol and advil. All their medicine bottles list their doses in mL and that is what used to be on the syringe. (Some of the pictures for this item in the description still show the old design) Now they changed it so it only shows the measurement is teaspoons. Luckily I know how to convert teaspoons to milliliters but I really doubt the average customer is going to know that. It will cause confusion and possibly mis-dosing. Also, it's the standard for medical measurements to include a zero before a decimal place when measuring less than one. So, 1/2 teaspoon should be written 0.5 Equate put .5 on their device and the decimal point is so tiny as to be missed by people like me with poor vision. My child's dose is 5 mL. Do you think the average person's eye is going to go towards the .5 on the measurement or the 1? (Hint, the correct dose would be 1 tsp which equals 5mL) Badly done equate. Horrible, horrible design change.
