Although this item was listed as vehicle specific for 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it does not fit, about a foot too long. So you can't leave the dipstick installed as you should be able to. It comes with instructions for different transmissions with graphs and notes for each. Since I just had the trans serviced, it seemed to match the corresponding graph "generally". But since it's not the right length I can't be 100% sure. I would only recommend if you already knew you fluid level and were able to make your assessment based on sound previous mechanical experience. So this may not be exact fit for your vehicle as listed. It is also based on transmission temperature which fortunately my vehicle provides in digital display.
