Detailed product description

The Gizmo Dorks Nylon filament is a strong durable material that is not as brittle as ABS or PLA. The strength of the filament is remarkable, especially when using a higher fill setting. Nylon prints are generally very wear resistant and they are incredibly flexible as well. Many users prefer Nylon when printing engineered parts such as gears. However, Nylon does have a considerable amount of warping when compared to ABS or PLA. Pyrolysis occurs around 350 degrees Celsius. Nylon prints will stick to blue painter's tape. Because Nylon adheres to cellulose surfaces poplar wood can be used as a bed such as cardboard. Nylon also sticks extremely well to machinable garolite, but that may be hard to come by. Using a glue stick on a glass bed works well also. PVA glues can also be diluted and applied on with a sponge head.

Gizmo Dorks Nylon Filament for 3D Printers, Multiple Colors: Printing temperature: 230-260 degrees C depending on part and printer type Net weight: 1 kg Print speeds: 28-34mm/s Only use in well-ventilated areas Store dry when not in use, absorbs moisture Use a heated bed if available (not required)
