My daughter loves it. It is so hard to find not only a messenger bag but one that my preteen would love. She loves horses. Seems durable but only time will tell. Wont last long if your stuffing it full of books. Size wise you wont be able to fit a whole lot in here. Definitely not high school books and supplies. But for a elementary or maybe middle schooler who doesnt bring home alot of books and homework then you should be fine. Would work great as overnight bag. Just enough room for change of clothes and few other things. For reference I bought it for my daughter to use as a backpack, she doesnt like 2 strap backpacks.
