My 16 yr old was interested in "trying" to Kayak and this was the perfect price to let him try it and he loved it -
This is a great value for the money. It does need a high-volume low pressure inflator (a tire pump won't work) such as you would use for an air mattress. Walmart has an Ozark inflator for $10 that works from the car just fine. The kayak inflates quickly, holds up well to both kids and adults, is very comfortable and paddles very nicely, even in a high wind, though that makes it very slow going! Highly recommended. We got it for a family outing and it was a real treat for the family. Everyone enjoyed using it. The fact that the seats are not fixed in place made it nice to configure for one or two passengers. It is roomy without being too unmanageable.
Great value for the price. Doesn't have a lot of direction unless you purchase the skeg for it. If you like just floating in the water then it's for you. The skeg runs $24.99 on the brands website.
This was a great deal and you get what you pay for. My only complaint is it is not self bailing.
This is a great little raft if you don't care about the direction that you travel. The boat tends to blow with the wind. It's more of an inflatable canoe than kayak. I found the seat inserts to be useless, both broke minutes after inflation, and even before breaking provided little back support. I like to use it more as a "hammock" on the water, nice to just relax and float around, but don't expect to make it a straight line back to shore when you are done napping.
