The shoes are comfortable throughout my entire 8 hour shift in the nursing home. They're waterproof, fit really well, and support my ankles.
Very comfortable. Keeps feet dry.
Very comfortable and "waterproof" as any boot I've owned. Black leather takes a nice shine. I want to get a pair in coyote, the 8" now.
I received these as a gift. Initially I thought they were too small. But after loosening them up and then getting them on they fit perfect. Out of the box these boots are a bit stiff. Thankfully I had time between when I received them and my range day to wear them a few times to break them in. Even then at the end of the day I wish I'd have spent more time breaking them in. My advice is to wear them an hour a day for a few days before wearing them all the time. If you do you'll find they soften a bit and become perfect. Other than needing to be broken in, these boot are great, theyre just the right weight and they feel great.
I got the Propper Series 100 6" and after a short time with them, I am really glad I did my homework. These boots fit GREAT, and are built for the type of enjoyment I associate with my Harley. Great grip, easy on and off, durable, and fit it exact as bought. No guessing (true to size) or concerns on size match. Great Job Propper !!
Shoes are made well and fit good. I like the zipper to help with both removal and putting on the boot
The boot itself is of good quality. Easy to get on and off. I do like the zipper and the broad foot. That makes the difference for me. However, I do not like that the six" sides chaffed my leg; now I have a bruise. I fixed that with higher socks. The non-slip factor is not there. In some areas where I work, I still slip a little. Also, when we clean the floor, I will slip. Overall the waterproof works very well; no wet feet.
Propper makes boots for tactical and military use, but the 100 Series are also great work boots. I'm in the maintenance industry, I do work in side, out side, in the rain, in the sun, in the cold and the heat... you get the idea, and the Propper 100 Series is probably the only boots that had lasted me passed the one year mark. The boot is very comfortable, it hold very well in most conditions, the only complaint I have, is that the inside of the boot, doesn't hold as well as the outside of the boot. The last two pairs I've warned out, (going on third pair now) the outside was still usable, but the upholstery inside the boot was destroyed. If the inside of the boot had tougher materials, I could probably get an extra 3 months out of the boots. That is the reason I don't give the boots 5 stars. But overall, very good boots for the price.
Good boots. No break in required. Only thing I don't like is boot laces are too long. Reason for 4 stars.
Just very tight for me. Needed a wider boot( not in stock).
