I was hesitant on trying them as I usually do not like to take any medication that I have to suck on or chew as they normally have an after taste or they are chalky. This was not the case with these chews. They had a pleasant taste and were not chalky at all. They were fast acting and helped get rid of my heartburn quickly. I would definitely recommend these chews to my friends and family.
I love the alka seltzer chews. They work great and fast, and the flavor is good. I enjoy these better than tums and find they work better. The price is fair!

I have used Alka Seltzer effervescent tablets in the past and they worked, so I decided to give these a try. The chews were surprisingly fruity, not chalky, which was nice. They came in a variety of flavors and worked promptly! I have been depriving myself from my favorite foods for a long time, because of the fear of heartburn. I've tried other products in the past, to no avail. I am now able to enjoy my favorites again, Cajun and Creole, the hotter, the better. I am enjoying my life again, without the burn. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Alka-Seltzer Heartburn ReliefChews are such a wonderful alternative to the usual "chalky" antacid and/or heartburn relief options! The taste is great and I really like the almost gummy-type "chew". The fruity flavors are quite yummy and different from most fruity flavors ... either chewing a single flavor or being adventuresome and mixing flavors. Normally, I am not a fan of anything gummy or chewy! However, these are a pleasant texture, which really did surprise me. (This is 100% my own opinion and I did receive a free sample from "Smiley360" in exchange for my unbiased review.)
I used to take Zantac and this helps me quickly! It is easy to take and not chalky or gross! I would recommend to anyone who has a hard time with other products that are chalky and hard to chew and get down without water.
Love this product from Alka-Seltzer! I don't often get heartburn, so when I do it makes the experience even more uncomfortable. Especially if I'm headed o bed for the evening (which is when my heartburn seems to strike).The taste is far superior to other heartburn relief tablets. There is no chalky flavor and I found the chews to be much more pleasant in taste and texture. The chews reacted quickly and provided me w/relief. They are even somewhat pretty in appearance, which makes anything easier to eat when pleasurable to the eye. A definite recommend to friends and family. These work great and you don't have to deal with the chalky taste most have. These are fruit flavored. They aren't like eating candy, but are way better than any of the alternatives. I also have them on hand!!
These heartburn relief chews by Alka-Seltzer are a savior! They're easy to take, you just pop a couple in your mouth and chew them. They taste fantastic, just like a candy. No medicinal taste or chalkiness. Relief is on the way in about 10-15 minutes. These are always in my medicine cabinet!
Now that I'm nearing my 40s, I've realized that any random food can trigger my acid reflux.
