I love these molds , they are so easy to use and clean. I plan on buying many more, and Wilton's fondant is great too
I ordered the mold online, and it arrived in perfect condition.
I LOVE LOVE this mold! I made so many seaweed with gumpaste using a variety of vivid colors. I made cupcakes Under The Sea! To see what I created with this, visit my page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sweet-Bakes-Of-Mine-By-Yaneri-Rodriguez/146428475465553?ref=hl
I'M SOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED.....I'M GETTING ALL OF THEM!!!!! WOOOHOOOO!
Nice detailed sealife. Nice additive to an ocean cake.
I have used all of the Wilton molds and they are a little tricky to figure out at first. I use cornstarch to dust the molds and fondant very lightly before pressing into the mold. I press a small amount of fondant or gumpast into the cavity, use a small fondant roller to roll over the fondant to make sure it is really in there good, then use a small very sharp paring knife (I use the pampered chef ones) to trim off the access. Hold the knife flat against the mold and gently but quicky use a back and forth motion to cut the excess off. They come out very easily when turned upside down. It does take some practice but the results are so so nice. I especially love the bead trim mold the best. Good luck!
waves very difficult to make and shells are pretty flat
