We've had this grill for over 7 months and love it so far. We haven't had any problems what so ever...and I grill 2-4 times a week. We got it last July in store and only paid $140ish (and scored the display model so I didn't have to assemble it myself!). I think it's a great grill!
We really enjoy this grill. We bought the blue one from Walmart online and picked up at site to store. Only complain, it took us 2-3 hours to assemble and one small plastic piece was slighty cracked. Had to use super glue it. But it was ok because the price was is decent.
Been a little over a year now and I can't complain much. Easy to put together and even easier to cook on. After a year of grilling at least once a week but mostly 2 or 3 times, everything seems to be holding up very well. The grates are starting to warp a little, but nothing serious. I found that as long as you take care of it, clean it out every once in a while, and keep it out of the weather (I keep it under a cover when not in use) it will be a very good investment.
We bought this grill from a Walmart store and not online. It was a little beat up when we opened it, ie: the paint was wet on a spot and it was dented in about 5 different places.... however, we were very pleased with it when we finally got it put together and fired it up. You will not find a better bargain out there! For the most part, it's a very nice grill.
I bought this grill as a gift for my husband, and we loved it! It was, I thought, an excellent value for the money. It worked wonderfully, started every time, and we never had any issues with it. Until the second year..... It began to be finnicky with the ignitor, lighting only sometimes, not others. We had to replace the regulator and hose on it, which only cost about $20 and seemed to solve the problem. Just yesterday, I tried to light it for dinner, and it wouldn't ignite. I could smell the gas, and knew the tank was full, and I could see the ignitor sparking, but it still did not light. Removing the grill plates and heat dispersers, I clearly saw the tubes were cracked and rusting away, leaking the gas and preventing ignition. Even though this was a cheap grill, I expected it to last more than only two years. Other than its (lack of) longevity, it was a very useful and dependable grill.
First of all, I'm a serious grill guy - meaning I grill 2-3 times per week all year around. This grill looks nice, but that's about as far as it goes. I've had it for about two years now and I finally decided to give up on it. The first complaint I have is the grill does not get hot enough. There's nothing worse than having to slow fire a steak. It ends up tasting more like a roast....yuk. My second complaint is that the grates simply warped. Most grates rust, but these one's kind of just sunk. Overall, a very disappointing grill and the worst one I've owned in my 25 years of being married and grilling. :) Some of my best grills over the years have been the cheapest, so don't think you have to spend a lot of money. This is just not the right one.
