After purchasing a much more expensive rocker/glider and ottoman which ended up being of extremely poor quality and construction, we decided to give this one a try! I was very skeptical, since we had spent 5x the amount of $$$ on another set and had such poor results. This rocker/glider is comfortable, rocks smoothly and evenly, is quiet, and is definitely a great buy for the price! Although our baby has not arrived yet, I sat in this rocker/glider for hours last night and was comfortable the entire time! My husband doesn't like that the back doesn't recline, but I did not find it to be uncomfortable. The microfiber upholstery is easy to clean with just mild soap and water, spills come right off, no problem! So, while the fabric is light in color, it is definitely easy to clean and I don't forsee a problem. Easy to assemble as well and we purchased and brought it home right from the store! So glad we went ahead with this rocker/glider/ottoman!
We picked this up today at our local store. I am so happy with it! Ottoman is fully assembled, and chair had just a bit of assembly. It is really comfy and I am glad to have something that is more "upright" to sit in. I am 8 months pregnant and it really helps with posture but still is comfortable.
I received the chair today. My husband is deployed and this chair was so easy to assemble. The instructions were easy to follow and it took me about 30 mins. So far it seems very comfortable and it is a great chair for the price offered. I am sure there are more comfortable, more quality chairs out there, but if you are looking to save a little money then this chair is perfect. It is easy on the checkbook and still is a great chair.
I've been pricing and reading reviews on rocker/gliders for over 6 months now. I took a leap when I purchased this one from the store, and I'm glad I did! I'm 34 weeks pregnant and put this together by myself, with no problems, in about 15 minutes. The chair itself is extremely comfortable, very sturdy, and appears to be easy to clean. I rocked for a long time after it was put together! I'm actually looking forward to those late night feedings! All around great buy!!
I love this rocker! It is so comfy. It was easy to put together, aside from the armrest snaps...but thats not a big deal! (And for some reason we only had spanish directions--still super easy) And we didnt have to wait for it to be shipped! We got it in store!
Pawpaw and I purchased this chair for our older daughter so she could rock/nurse her new baby girl. It matched her crib/dresser/changing table perfectly! And the glider ottoman made it even more comfortable. The price could not have been better, either. Most furniture stores were charging over $700 for similar rockers/ottoman combinations. We would highly recommend this product AND the site-2-site provision. Walmart has once again come through with an affordable and quality solution.
I am about 5'9 and I fit in it fine but the back is a little short for my husband (hes about 6'). I also thought the seat would be a little thicker and wider, but its ok. Its a good sturdy chair I guess I just thought it would be a little more comfortable.
I bought this glider in the store about a month ago. It was very easy to put together. I got it together in about 20 minutes at 8 months pregnant. It does sit up a bit straight which makes my husband not like it for lounging in but I feel it will be perfect for rocking my baby to sleep and feeding her. The cushions are firm which I personally like because that means they won't go flat easily. I love the colors. All in all this is a great glider for the price.
-husband said it was easy to assemble -wish it was wider but seems to be the same as most gliders (I am just used to our recliners) -available in store so no waiting -light cream cushions could get dirty fairly fast but you are able to remove them and they are microfiber which seems easy to clean -good deal, looks nice, hope it works out for us
I really loved the look of this item, especially because it matched the baby's theme colors and crib. It has a smaller seat, I wouldn't recommend it for heavier set people, I'm smaller and its a tight fit with a boppy around my waist. The cushions are firm so if you are looking for something soft you might want to see if any of the walmarts near by have one on display. No problems with other aspects, easy to put together and no squeaks. Make sure you scotch guard it though, great material but light in color. Overall I'm satisfied!
