Our granddaughter got the Melissa & Doug mixer and coffee maker for Christmas and loves them. We are anxious to give the toaster for her birthday in a few weeks.
It does not actually "pop" up toast, but other than that, my kids love it!
They love this toy. Only gets a 4 because it is not as versatile and they run out of ways to use it. It is well made and adds to their kitchen. Realistic and sturdy. They like to cut the butter.
This toaster is made really well however, the toast doesn't actually pop up. The timer on the side of the toaster doesn't do anything. Disappointed.
I am waiting for a response to an email I sent. I am wondering if the toaster I received is broken. Toast doesn't go all the way down and to pop it up you have to lift the handle...doesn't really pop up. The butter is too hard to separate and of course it stays as a slab so you can't really spread it. I have a toy toaster that is 30 years old...push the handle down and the toast disappears into the toaster, on the side is a button that you push and the toast actually pops up. After playing with this for so long, the Melissa and Doug toaster is a disappointment to the 2 year old.
