[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6-year old is obsessed with all old school games & characters but especially Sonic. When I gave this to him the look on his face was absolutely priceless. It has a super long cord so you don't have to be sitting right up on the game system to use it. The C stick can be switched out to a full size knob like the gray one on the left side of the controller if your prefer a larger knob. So far this has worked on every game he plays on his switch and have had no issues with it. It is very well made and does not feel cheaply made like other controllers we have used. My son absolutely loves the Sonic photo that's on the controller. I prefer using this when playing the switch because I'm a fan of the old school style controllers. Like it better than the wireless ones that come with the switch.
Throughout playing smash, busted controllers got me far( as depressing as that sounds) this controller FREED me from busted joysticks, jammed buttons, broken springs, I'm free of it all!!! BUY THIS CONTROLLER!!!!

It has the perfect hand shape for a kid and a adult. It doesn't have any weight and ha ve all the tools needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My small kids like to play the switch, but we don't yet trust them to hold the switch out of its base. That's why we wanted a controller. We love the old school style and shape of this, and my kids love sonic the hedgehog. It's obviously a classic choice for us adults as well. It feels good in the hand and all the buttons are placed well and ergonomically. I love that the cord is incredibly long, that way there's less of a chance that someone will trip over it or it'll get yanked and pull the system down. It's a smooth user experience and everything worked perfectly.

I have owned a switch for a few years and gaming has always been a little difficult with the controls! Not anymore! With this controller I am able to maneuver around the games with ease! It is designed just like the old n64 controllers so it is easy to grip and the buttons are large! I loved it and so did my kids! The sonic design was bright and vibrant and gave it a nice retro look! Even though it is wired there was enough cord to be able to sit comfortably and still use it! Fantastic product!

I love the coloring which is blue and red, plus the Sonic design in the center of the controller. The controller is designed after the original Nintendo Gamecube. If you're in the market for a new controller for your Nintendo Switch, I highly recommend this one!

I bought these controllers a few time and returned them twice i really love the Feel and designs of the controller and its almost perfect for smash the issue I have with this controller is if a game cube controller adapter is plugged into the switch the controller does attack with the analog stick and the last time I had the controller its was feburary of this year and they still havent fixed this issue, from a competitive stand point this controller is usless because most people use gc controllers in tourneys and its unfair if your controller is doing false inputs PDP Please fix this, besides that I love the feel of the gc and pro controller hybrid and it's great for other games too and love how you can change the c stick for a more modern feel. The build quality is also super good and feels comfy for long play sessions. I would recommend this if you dont plan to go to tourneys and dont own a gc adapter
The shoulder button’s input locations inside them are far to the side, it feels very uncomfortable to press it as the pressure will have to come from the middle of the finger and not the point, and the fact that they’re very thin and long buttons just makes it feel even worse since it makes the distribution of the pressure more uneven, therefore harder to press, which is not optimal nor desirable at all, unless you move half your hand out the controller( which is obviously bad to the grip) or you have tiny hands. Controllers like the powerA and the pro controller don’t have this problem, both have the input location of the shoulder buttons more centered and thicker, shorter buttons. I chose the PDP because it’s bigger that the powerA, has the left shoulder button unlike the GameCube, and allows me to perform certain things better than the pro controller. However, if I knew that the left shoulder on the PDP has to be pressed so far to the side, I would not have ordered mine. Please correct the button dimensions and move the input location more to the center, I will most definitely buy that model it and openly recommend it if you do, it’s that close to be the best controller to play smash bros.
