As soon as the gel seat arrived (which was 4 days earlier than projected!!) my husband said that he was 100% more comfortable sitting in his wheelchair and the pressure was taken off of his tailbone.
We like this Gel-U-Seat It provides extra cushioning when sitting in a chair for a long period of time. My husband recently had a hip replacement and it provides the cushioning that he needs without being too soft.
I thought it seemed kind of pricey, but I hoped it would be a well made item, and it really is! I'm a big lady, and I use it not only on my wheelchair, but I bought another one to sleep on, as I have to sleep on a recliner, and this works wonders!

My dining room chairs were always painfully hard. I used them at my desk, and my son uses one in his room to sit at his desk and watch TV. Needless to say, we sit for very long periods of time, and these chairs, actually crippled us. These cushions solved the problem. THEY ARE AWESOME! They work on large dining room chairs, office desk chairs, even my recliner!

This is the same cushion that I have had on my chair for 3 years now. The one I just purchased I got $28 cheaper than the one I bought three years ago which was not through Walmart. The cushion is firm yet it has cushion I highly recommend it
For anyone who is looking for a good quality gel seat cushion this is a good deal. It does what it says and I am glad I bought it.
My family member is most of the day in a wheelchair and this has made him very comfortable to sit long hours.
