I have Type 1 diabetes. My skin gets dry, thick, tough, and bumpy. I applied the sample on my hands, arms, and feet before bed. When I got up in the morning, I was surprised to find my skin, softer, smoother, and more flexible without the stiff feeling most other lotions give me. It has a pleasant light scent and it wasn't until the afternoon when I went looking for a re-application.
When I opened up the sample lotion I noticed the smell first. It was not over powering but at the same time it had a nice smell. As I put in my fingers to rub together It was not greasy and or oily. It was more of a moisture feel. It didn't leave behind a residue and it absorbed nicely into skin. After rubbing into skin and the lotion absorbing there was a shine to my hands. Not like a greasy / oily shine but like a moisturizing shine. About 10 - 15 minutes after applying the lotion my skin felt so soft and moisturized! They also had a clean smell. After using this I really love this lotion! I'm usually very picky about my lotions and don't just like any one lotion but I have to say I really like this lotion! I've had a beard for 40 years and a large goatee for the last 10 years. Trimming around the goatee and my sideburns has always been difficult as I have had coarse facial hair and poor beard softener for shaving. That is until my wife gave me her container of "Nivea Smooth Daily Moisture." WOW! Now I look forward to my 'little shave' as the Nivea is the Best shaving lotion I've used since 1964 when I first shaved! Thank You!
I absolutely love this product! I tried a small bottle of lotion one day and I liked how it felt on my skin. My youngest has eczema and it actually kept her skin moisturized during these cold months. In addition to this I decided to try the body wash and again I love it!!! Our skin is so noticeably soft. My husband never cares for body wash but honestly he is loving this. I 'm glad I decided to try this product. The two products together were perfect for my family. I'm hooked!! Thanks for making a great product.
Love this lotion - absorbs quickly - not greasy. Scent is ok (I hardly notice any) but unscented is always a nice feature or how about different scents. Skin really feels soft...can only imagine if I use this every day!!! I do water aerobics and always apply lotion afterwards - this will be amazing. Have never tried the lotions by Nivea but will be getting some next time I am out.
Nivea Extended Moisture body lotion is so smooth and light it feels like you are rubbing rose petals on your skin. This non-greasy formula helps your dry skin becomes hydrated and soft. Its fantastic and I recommend it to anyone with dry skin to very dry skin.
I have purchased Nivea before and was never real happy with the thickness of the product. When I purchased Smooth Sensations with Shea butter i was hooked. My skin feels like silk, could not imaging any other lotion for me from this point on. Thank you, Nivea
This is the best lotion on the market, both for body and hands, as far as I am concerned. It goes on smoothly but is not heavy or greasy. Leaves skin soft and silky but not sticky. Smells wonderful. Does a better job on my hands than any other hand cream I have used in the past.
I received a sample of this product in the mail and just had a chance to try it. I badly sunburned my skin a few days ago and this feels AMAZING on my dried out skin. I could feel my skin instantly soaking up the lotion and it helped relieve some of the itchiness that comes along with burned skin. The only thing I do not particularly like is the smell - it's a little bit to baby-powderish smelling for my liking. Overall, this works wonderfully on dry/itchy skin.
