My 9 month old loves the features on this toy. The crinkly ear and the rolling rattle got her attention immediately and the twisting shapes will help her continue to develop her fine motor skills. This toy is great all on its own but I am excited to see how getting another linkimals toy will add to the entertainment even more when we get to see how they interact! my baby loves all the linkamils
I received the product for free through the Mattel Play, Rate & Review Program in exchange for my honest opinion. My son, 18 months, has almost all of the linkimals but the sloth. This has been one of his favorite I believe because of the voice and the counting feature. (He's totally into counting at this time) The cool features on this Koala is the ear is a crinkling ear which he loves, then you have his hand which has a rattling ball in it when it's turned. We wish it would turn on or make the Koala sing but it is merely an accessory. However, if the child does turn or spin the circle of shapes in the treetop that will get a song about shapes, then hitting the numbers on the tree trunk, it will say the number, count that number, and of course if you hit it's belly it'll sing. It keys up nicely with the other linkimals we have and thus far this has kept his interest more so than the others. I would recommend this for those that have kiddos learning to count or interested in counting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is an adorable learning toy. It lights up and helps with colors and numbers. My son loved carrying it around the house with him. It has a handle on the back just for that purpose. I like it because it's cute and educational. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We were gifted this item for my son when he was young, and from 6 month old to now (17 months) he absolutely loves this toy. Most toys that sing and play music get annoying after a while but I actually enjoy the songs and don't find it annoying at all, even a year later. The linkable toys are so cool. We have three (Koala, panda, and moose) and my son loves when they interact, even saying hi back to them now. It was one of the first toys he played with independently which made me happy to have a moment to not have to entertain him.
So cute!! Can't wait to give it to my grandson for Christmas. I got him a couple different ones so they will interact with one another. My daughter and sister spoke very highly of them. I am so excited to see them in action!!
I bought the Koala, Otter, Llama and the Moose for my twin grandbabies for Christmas. They had received the other 2 for their first birthday in October and enjoyed playing with them. So now they have all 6 of these Linkamals and I must say that this Granny was thrilled to see not only the interaction of all these toys with each other but the way they hold the attention of my grandbabies as well. I would recommend the purchase of these learning toys.
These toys interact with one another and a good teaching tool.
