This tiny camera has met all my expectations. Easy to use, great pictures and with the additional SanDisk 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo there's lots of room for 100's of photos. I also ordered the Sony Digital Camera Travel Kit for storage. The little tripod is great for still shots and stores easily in the case. The tiny size makes it great for carrying...it's small enough to temporarily slip into your pocket and light weight. The price is good too!
Not only is this product easy to use for those of us who want to take lovely pictures but don't know all the technical jargon in the world, but its slim design and finish make it very pleasing to the eye. The proffered settings are functional and simply to adapt to--plus the manual setting is a snap to change!
Learning to use the camera and so far it is great in all aspects. Great pics, easy to use, great value for money spent and no problems.
I purchased this item for my aunt who is not too tech savvy. She likes the zoom and all the features. Great camera for the price. I have the 5.1 MP Cyber-shot and am very pleased so a 7.2 MP camera for under $130 was a no brainer. Has a very small amount of internal memory (maybe 6 to 10 photos) so you will have to buy a card, which have down in price. One should buy at least a 2 or 4 GB card. I also recommend a case for it because one is not provided.
Anyone can use this, even my 2 years old son knows how to take pictures from this camera. Menu were simple. Picture quality is pretty decent. I have an older version of this from last year and still working great. I have to return this product and got the higher pixel because they were the same price. I'm really happy with Sony products.
I wanted a small digital camera to carry in my purse and tried many brands. Due to an issue I have with my hands shaking I found that many of the small cameras didn't correct my problem and I ended up with blurry pictures. I found that the Sony Cybershot line of cameras really work. The price was quite low for the quality of pictures produced.
This camera is exactly what we were looking for. Small, very portable, excellent pictures, great for "people snapshots" at gatherings. We have a larger, SLR digital camera that we will use for scenic and distant shots, just because it's easier to steady yourself with a larger camera in your hand. But, for quick, simple, high-quality snapshots in the palm of your hand, you can't beat this camera. It's easy to use and feature-packed. The "smile detector" is a cool feature, too, and it works just as advertised. We could not be happier with this camera!
I got this camrea because our old one was getting to be a little out dated. A lot of our pics were blury and wanted to get a camrea that controled this. I like the size, it control the blur better, but am not happy with the red eye reduser. Our old camrea we never had a red eye and most of the pics of our newborn have red eye. I hate this because when you fix them they are just black and do not show the true color. Other than this I like the camera, but wish I had tried the Nikon. Maybe next time.
I got this camera for my birthday. First I was very excited because it has great features and the small size is great. I love the appearance and couldn't wait to get started. Took several pictures in different environments and when I went to look at them in the computer, the colors were weird and the brigthness yellowish. I Had set on automatic in order to correct wherever problem it could have but it was bad and I took it rigth back to the store!
The camera kept telling me that I was using the battery that was not compatible with the camera, however, I was using the battery that came with the camera. I googled this problem and found that it was very common with this camera. Sony customer service wasn't much help. I decided to return it for a nikon.
