This is the second camera dsc-w120 we have purchased for family members. Our family owns 10 sony camera's for all different reasons. This camera was purchased for our daughter to take picture of our Twin Grand-daughters. For home use... Quick pictures of ever moving smiling babies and children this is the camera. Now we are recieving pictures daily.
I had a Sony camera before. I used it for 4 years, but it was about time to get a new one. Bought this camera for a good price and I love it! Its light weight and fits perfectly in your pocket. My friends and I love the Smile feature, it definitely catches some great shots!
I bought this for my 10 year old for Christmas. She loves it! She had it all figured out and was taking great pictures in no time at all. She loves the video option and has made a short movie for her friends. She also loves the 4X zoom. It takes very clear pictures in the fully zoomed mode. I would recommend this for every one. It's easy to use and takes great pictures. It also looks cool!
My husband and I purchased this camera right before Christmas and we are thrilled with the photos it takes. We had been wanted to get a digital camera for some time, but wanted to do our research before purchasing one. This is definitely the camera for us. If you are looking for a camera in this price range I highly recommend this one!
The picture quality is stellar. I bought it for my girlfriend, soon to be wife, as a surprise and it was i who was just as surprised when i saw how good the pictures turned out. The price is great, although i would have like an included memory stick, thanks Sony. Either way, both of us being Mac users, this camera works out perfectly for us. The zoom in shots come out very well, no blur at all. It was as if we were standing right next to whatever it was we were snapping a shot of. Great Product, Great Value. Easily a great gift for any occasion.
Hi. I bought this camera based on the product reviews on THIS site. I wanted a good quality camera - but also one that was inexpensive so if something happened, it could be replaced without much heartache. I bought this camera to put in my purse - to carry around and take random snapshots of things. WORKS superb. I really like the super fast shutter speed. Sturdy construction too. As soon as I take a shot, it is ready for another in 2-3 seconds. I have bought SEVERAL cameras - only to take them back because I was not satisfied. Has a 2.5 screen, but seems bigger. This blue color is nice too. I owned the pink, but took that back. This is a nice, stylish, not flimsy and totally worth the money. Super great buy. FYI: the same exact camera is at Best Buy for $179! Ouch. Thanks!!
This camera was much more than expected. It is slim and stylish but more important, takes phenomenal pictures. Every one of them comes out so clear! I bought it for my teenager to carry around and click but have found myself borrowing it instead of using my more expensive camera! Highly recommend~ Does not come w/case or memory stick so be sure to purchase seperately.
My husband & I shopped around and tried several cameras before choosing this one. What I liked was it powered on fast and stores pictures quickly, which means there is very little delay between taking pictures. What he liked was that it has multiple settings and will take a picture when you press the shutter (no depress half-way and wait required). It takes GREAT pictures. We are VERY happy with it and would recommend it to anyone needing a simple point and shoot camera.
I had a Nikon Coolpix digital camera and jsut wasn't happy with it, it has a very long shutter lapse, and it just got annoying when trying to take photos of the kids in action. So when a friend of mine handed me her Sony Cyber Shot and asked me to take a photo of she and her Dad, I was instantly impressed with the camera. I did my research online and decided to make a purchase. I scoured the Internet and found that Wally World had the best price, so I bought it, and I have to say, I love this camera. It's so much better than the Nikon, and a lot cheaper. I'd say it's the best value with the most amount of features for the price!
Last month I purchased the blue sony cybershot 7.2 MP digital camera with the 4x optical zoom. So far so good. I find it takes the picture faster than most of the smaller cameras like this. It's good quality pictures. I like the smile shutter feature. It's pretty neat. I really like the blue color. It's very unique... well right now it is. They'll probably become more popular soon. For a small compact camera that you can take everywhere, I think it is worth the price paid. So far, no trouble with it. Hopefully none will come!
