this item was on the register for my brothers wedding. I looked around and Walmart's price was a lot lower than the other places I looked. it was a win win
These are so bright and cheerful! I have a longstanding love for Corelle, since I received Corelle as wedding gifts in 1968, and have been an devotee ever since. I love how they stand up to heavy use, and continue looking good for years. They are so thin, and stack so neatly that they take up little cupboard space. These newer Corelle, have a better cup, not so thin, so they are more comfortable to hold when hot. The only drawback that I have seen, is that when washed in a sink, the plates fit so closely, that it is hard to separate them. I can live with that, as this dinnerware is great in so many ways. I needed the sandwich-sized plates, which I can only find in Cafe Red, but they complement this Urban Red. I wish that I could find matching serving bowls and casseroles. I would recommend Corelle dinnerware to anyone, and especially families with small children.
Love corelle products less likely to break and light weight. Bought this set for my mother-in-law as she complains that stoneware is too heavy for her.
I'm very happy with these. From a few of the reviews I was a little skeptical over the color-I needed a true red. All I have to say is they are a perfect pretty red. Not an orange or a burgundy tint at all!! Red, red, red!

I bought 2 sets of Corelle dishes. We are seniors and our old set was still in good shape but they are made out of heavy material. We needed something lighter and the Corelle was perfect. We put them in the dishwasher and the microwave, and best they don't take up a lot of space in the cabinet.
This was actually a birthday present for my mom. She loves them and says nothing but good things. They are thin so they take up very little space, durable, and very reasonibly priced.
Colors match my decor perfectly, love the light weight compared to my stoneware,cups are nice size for our coffee. Price was less than Ebay and target. Go for it I did.
Correlle swaps out the Correlle cups for a cheaper stoneware cup. Not expected at all. Shipped in a standard brown box, not a Correlle box. Not suitable for gift giving. Buyer beware.
I ordered 2 sets of Corelle and the 2nd set had red specks of paint on the white plates. Could not remove them at all so I took them all back.
