I have a 4 year old chihuahua who has GOT to be the pickiest eater alive.She wouldn't eat anything that I got goe her(3 different brands).Then I tried Kibbles'n'bits in the 4 pound bag.She pigged out!!I have never seen her eat so much at one sitting.She loved it.I think we found a home for a picky eater.Thanks Kibbles'n'bits.
I also have a chihuahua that will not eat anything else! Funny. I think its the chewy bits, my other two dogs will eat anything so they love the kibbles too! I don't buy anything else, it's a waste of time.
I have two chihuahuas that stick up their nose to dried food on a regular basis. Because of the economy we're having to cut back on things - and of course that means switching to dry dog food! We have tried multiple brands and they just would not touch them.. Until we got to this one. Viola! They're eating it. Must be something about it they like. :)
Kibbles 'N Bits is the fast food of dog food. It has the honor of being lower than almost every other kibble in protein percentage, and gets it from the cheapest source: meat and bone meal-- meat discards, hoofs, hair, hide, and bones ground up. It's front loaded with corn meal, which is high carbs and no real value to dogs. Which also gives it the "honors" of being one of the highest carbs in dog foods. In addition, the two things I look for that tells me not to buy a dog food BOTH are mentioned here: sugars (sucrose, syrup, molasses) and food digest (any meat from any animals, very likely horse, broken down by chemicals and sprayed on the kibble as junk flavor). These are both indicators that the kibble has nothing to offer your dog, and are put in to make them eat it faster so you think they really like it.
