I've lost count of all the different style guns we have. this gun was a big hit when they received it! This has to be one of the most powerful nerf guns we've had yet. Seriously this thing shoots far and the power in that bullet shocked me. Had to tell the kids to be careful with this one! The gun itself is large and once you get the hang of it it's fun and easy to use. The kids are really enjoying this toy and I'd highly recommended it!

He has a smaller gun in this line so he was excited to receive this one too. "It's very powerful and awesome! The bullets whiz by quickly with minimal noise. " The start up was a bit difficult for him until he read the manual and realized that it wasn't jammed. From then on, it was smooth sailing. The bullets travel a great distance quickly.I think this line of Nerf guns has an advantage over those that take the traditional bullets, in that the bullets travel quieter, faster, and farther. These toys kept him and his cousins busy playing for quite some time. Overall worth the difference in price between those using traditional Nerf bullets.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my cause he loves nerf guns. This nerf gun is so awsome. My son could not believe how fast and far the darts went. The darts are completely different than an original nerf gun so you can't use the same darts. My son liked these darts better cause they were heavier and they shoot further. It does jam up once in awhile but there is a tiny little button on the side that helps with that problem. Its very easy to load also. You just push the darts in the top and they will go down the clip. Very nice and easy gun for my 5 year old son
awesome Nerf gun it's definitely one of the best shotguns but I wish it came with 13 darts instead of 8 because the gun holds 8 and it has a 5 dart storage
This gun shoots really far and the bullets are made of a harder foam so shooting at close range does hurt a little. If your kids are into nerf wars or just like shooting this gun is a must.
Do your kids have nerf guns? Do they annoy you constantly with them? Get this nerf ultra pump action shotgun and wreak your revenge!!! This puppy shoots darts that sting at close range and have pinpoint accuracy at a distance. Bratty kid from down the street steps outside to play? No worries… pick him off from your front porch and blame the other neighbourhood kids. Don't confuse nerf ultra with the regular old nerf guns… these things have nearly weighted darts that are way more fun to shoot butts with. Make that impulse purchase and terrorize your family, friends, neighbours and co-workers today. (Not recommended for kids… since they will use it on you… give them the standard old nerf guns).
