If you live in a southern state, this shade is a necessity to keep your vehicle cabin cooler and protect the dash and interior. I never park without putting a shade up. This shade was too large for the windshield in a Toyota Tacoma, but worked great on a full-size truck or deeper windshield. It folds up very thin so it easily fits between the seats for easy access. The material is very light weight, but sturdy enough that it won't tear easily. Overall, a low cost tool to protect your valuable vehicle.
Accordion style sun shade. reflective outer surface. Fits truck/ SUV windshields. Lightweight. Easily stored and use. Easy install in seconds. Kept inside considerably cooler on hot / sunny days. Straps to hold it together is nice feature to reduce damage with storing it. Recommend use to keep any vehicle cooler in the upcoming spring/ summer months.
I put this in our beater that sits out in the sun to keep it protected. It fit in the jeep good. A little big but I just folded the top and opened the visors to hold it. I'd rather it be a little too big than too small that way it fits in the whole windshield. It folds easily and has elastic to keep it folded tidy. It does the job. This would be good for Motor Home windshields, it should be large enough for them. It is thin foam with foil on the outside (your basic Sunshade). If you were to put this up and take down on a daily basis you might want to get a smaller size because it might be annoying to do every day. But for me putting this in a Jeep that we don't use often it works great.
This accordion sunshade, is thin and light. It is quite wide, but fits our 2020 Buick Enclave quite well. It does fold and unfold quite easily, has a couple of elastic bands for containment/storage of the product. I feel this will help keep the dash safe from the Texas sun's rays during the summer. These do go a long way in keeping the heat down on the interior. Recommended.
This auto shade is ample size, and does the job in all of my cars. I have used in my vintage Mustang, Hyundai and Chrysler 200, and it worked in all three cars, by positioning it up or down, and pushing against the window to hold in place. It keeps the car cool in the warm weather and warms the interior in winter. It protects against harmful ultraviolet rays, even when sitting in my driveway, and I can enter to a cool environment. The sun shade also prevents the cars interior from fading. As I mentioned, the size is 63 x 28.5 inches, a very large size to fold and place in the windshield snugly. The price point is very low and accommodating to my pocket book. It has a rubberized strap to help in folding and keeping closed when not in use. I gave the 4 star rating, because I don’t know how durable it will be in long term use, but again the cost is very low. I think it is a very nice and thoughtful gift for anyone in warm climates on your gift list.
I think this is really big and bulky for a car. It might do ngood in a truck. It was hard sitting in the car and trying to unfold it and put it in the windshield. And seemed to go across the inside windshield to far for my car. I guess in a big car it would be an ok fit. I have a Chevy Malibu and it seems to big for it.
Hi, I received the Auto Drive Universal Silver Reflective Accordion Sunshade. I was so happy to see it arrive. I live in GA and the spring and especially the summer get brutally hot! I have no shade in my driveway, so this sun shade should come in handy! It arrived neatly folded and has 2 elastic bands to hold it shut. I opened it up and thought it looked a bit big (see picture). My car is a Chevrolet Cruze, and it actually matches my metal flake silver paint and that is quite a nice added bonus. Okay, now I have to point out the down side going back to how I thought this looked a bit big. I found it really unwieldy to get it in my window. I finally folded it back on each side at the first crease. That got it in the window, and then used my sun visor to hold it in place. It was not a perfect fit as shown in the picture below. I think it would fit a truck or SUV really well. It is a universal unit and not a custom fit by any means, so if you are impatient and have a smaller car, you may want to look for a smaller size instead of fiddling with it. For me, I will probably use it because it does keep the heat down really well, and my car sits in the driveway for hours at a time. That is why I gave it 3 stars, the sizing and getting it to fit, I would recommend it to a truck or SUV owner for sure.
Arrived ripped bc it's as thin as toilet paper. This thing is a joke to put in your car bc it practically disintegrates in your hands.
I received the Auto Drive Universal Silver Reflective Accordion Auto Shade. This is the biggest auto shade I have ever seen. It is 63" wide x 28.5" tall. It is big enough to fit a very large windshield. I do like the plain silver to reflect the suns rays. And, I do like that it folds up and has two elastic loops attached to keep it folded when not in use. What I do not like about this sun shade, it has very thin padding. Not that you have to have thick padding. But, it is so thin and the shade will not sit up on the windshield. Even if you pull the visors down to hold it up, it just falls. It needs either thicker padding or some kind of stiffer backing so that the shade does not fall like a sheet of paper stuck in the windshield.
The sun visor is of very poor quality It tore right when I opened it and could not place it on the dash .
