As I was looking for a secretary I came across this piece. Its a great modern secretary for any small space and at a good price. It serves as not only a bookshelf, but a desk and small storage. I'm pretty handy and I was able to put it together on my own. It doesn't come too high, it's not too bulky and pretty sturdy. It looks great in my living room! I would definitely recommend this item to a friend.
The desk was not especially difficult to assemble, the instructions were concise. The desk is exactly what I expected it to be, based on the description provided. It is sturdy and very effective for small spaces! Would recommend this product product for the price!

Just put this together and it was obviously written by someone who speaks English and had actually assembled the piece at some point. It took a while-- a couple of hours, but the instructions were easy to follow. It looks just like the picture and is excellent quality especially for the price.
If I had seen it in the store I would have bought it right away. I went online to see what was available, and there it was. I was so happy to see it. I ordered it right away. The ease to put it together was unbelievable. I am so very happy with my purchase. I looks great in my living room. I was even more surprised that it had a file cabinet also. This has been very useful. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the computer desk and hope to get may years of use from it.
I was looking for a hideaway type desk so I could keep my toddler from messing with my laptop and other desk items. This desk is perfect for that and does it with a smaller footprint than my other desk. I love the file folder drawer as i was able to put all of my files in it and also get rid of my file cabinet. I would have preferred the file drawer to be the entire drawer (it is only half of it, the other half is a cubby) but it stiil works for us! Putting it together was straight forward and easy with very organized directions. Took me about 2 hrs to complete it.
Will take awhile to put together and not real wood but for the price it's a nice addition. Great for keeping laptop away from kids and has a lot of room to store stuff.
Took a while to get together good thing we had 2 people working on it Love that its small perfect for what we need and it closes up to keep Little fingers out of things they don't need!! Havent owned it long but hoping with a little care it holds up well!!
Great product, convenient for small spaces. Very time consuming and somewhat difficult to put together. You will need a hammer, screw driver, and maybe 2 to 3 hours. Disassembled parts in the box are very heavy. Have help to move it.
Just about every step of building this I found myself saying "they can't be serious". Not that it was difficult to assemble, but the cheap construction, plastic parts and cams that only lock on one end. The result is terrible. It sways side to side. And I don't expect the flip down to stay attached very long. It is attached by very short screws into particle board and when tightened, they never really grip into anything. I rest both hands on my laptop as I type, I would be afraid to on this tray. Right now, I'm wondering how on earth to return it.
