[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This minion pilot in training is very cool! Our 5.5 year old son LOVES everything related to minions. We watched all the movies, have different figurines and toys at home. You can imagine how excited he was when he got this Lego set. He was running around the house saying 'best gift ever'. He needed some help to put it together, but he did most of the work and he really enjoyed it. Compared to other Lego sets we had, it was not difficult to built for an adult or older child, but it took our son a few hours to get this set together. He was very proud of himself when he finally finished. It is a good quality set and he loves playing with it. Little minion is flying his plane to our Lego city and is mischievous and silly. Hours of fun! We can recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this a few days ago and my kiddo love it. She is five years old and while it was a little challenging for her age, she thoroughly enjoyed it. It took a few hours and it was well worth the quietness. I would highly recommend this to any parent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is perfect for my just turned 4-year-old. He loves Legos, and wants to build sets like his big brother. But at 4 years old most of the Lego sets are just too frustrating for him. The Lego 4+ set is great for kids that have outgrown Duplos, but aren't quite ready for the larger Lego sets. The Minions theme is well loved in our house. It's a great balance of bad guys vs good guys, as well as just silly fun. While my kids have seen the Despicable Me franchise and first Minion movie- this set is also adaptable into so much of my son's imaginative play. He uses this plane to carry any variety of our lego minifigures. As a parent this set gets two thumbs up. When the plane inevitably falls down the stairs it's a quick rebuild. My 4 year-old-can manage to fix most issues by himself, and if he wants my help I can quickly fix this set. And the roof of the plane comes off easily for little hands to add more passengers, and quickly goes back on without adult assistance!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego was a big success in our house. We are proud to call ourselves a Lego family, but we haven't had anything from the Minion series. Our 6 years old was very happy to add this to the collection. All together maybe 2 hours to put it together without any help (we are still working on our motor skills) and endless hours of fun. We had to watch all the Minion movies after we got this Lego. Will be getting more Minions as a birthday gift. Thank you, as always, for a great quality product!

They are 6 and 7 and worked for about an hour to finish this build together. They didn't need any assistance from me at all. And afterwards they enjoyed some pretend play - it was a win for all of us!

This set has so many details and amazingness cramped into one lego airplane..it was really fun to put all the block together ..She was very pleased with the finished product..The set is fun and satisfying to complete...My daughter loved doing that .....These are many area in this airplane, the pilot controller, passenger seat ,loo,area to put your luggage etc..smaller parts allowed more detailed product which is the quality of lego.. ..It includes many small accessories including banana,hotdog with extra bun,peanut bag, a suitcase which actually opens and two cute minions..This is new addition to my daughter lego collection..Loved it !!

By the time I found him with it (not long), he already had it almost finished just following the directions. I love that it was a plane so it was something different than what he already has and he enjoyed building it and taking it apart to rebuild it. He honestly isn't even all that interested in Minions but the plane made it worth it. Either way it would be a win.
