I've owned a Nikon Coolpix 8mp for about 3 years and I decided, maybe I should get another camera. My old Nikon didn't take the best pictures, indoors, and even outdoors, unless the flash was on and was very basic and had a yellowy glow to almost every picture. So I decided to stay away from the Nikon, and I read a lot of reviews and I was between this and the Samsung Dual View 12mp camera. And after days of review looking, my cousin told me this would be better for picture quality. So I bought it. It came in a week, it takes amazing pictures, and it takes it very fast. I like that it's not a basic camera either, there's a lot of features. This camera is by far worth a lot more than it is priced on here. Anyone who has problem with the speed of taking a picture, you just need to buy a high speed sdhc card (class 6 or higher) and anyone who had trouble with the quality of the photos, use iAuto and sometimes P works better in some places (even outside). This camera was way above par to what I thought it would be!!! Now I will be following olympus rather than Nikkon :) here's some photos I took. thanks for reading. :)

I picked this up on sale to take with me to Yellowstone while I worked there in the summer. I was so pleasantly surprised at the pictures that I was able to take with it. The zoom is great, it's easily workable, and the filters on it are fantastic. The battery life was even much better than some of the other cameras for this price that are out there. The best part of this camera is the magic filter- it makes the colors much more vivid. I went to a Pow-Wow in Cody, and the colors on the clothes came out amazing. 2 things I didn't like - the IB software was a bit overloaded, and the silver casing has the film over it coming off already.
This camera has everything i was looking for :) HD video, 5X, crispy pictures. I've had a CASIO, SAMSUNG, SANYO AND now..an OLYMPUS. I was debating between a CANON or this one and i finally chose the Olympus Stylus 5010 Titanium. Great for every occasion. I was impress with the PANORAMA function. Buy it !! :)
Great little camera for the price! It has many settings that allow you to take the perfect pic. I especially enjoy the pet setting. I can finally get great, non blurry photos of my cats! The pop art, pinhole, and fisheye are fun options as well. I'm really enjoying getting to use this fun camera!
It will do all most people know how to do. I do wish it had a TIME STAMP you place on each picture if you wanted. Otherwise for the money where are you going to find a better camera.
This camera has exceeded my expectations. It is easy to use and takes great pictures and unbelievable HD movies. This camera has many extras that only come with cameras costing much more. Truly a great value for the money.
I really like most things about this camera. The features are great and it takes good pictures. My biggest issue is that it FEELS really cheap when you're holding it. Also, if you're a man think twice about this camera, because if I didn't have nails I'm not sure I could press the on button. But overall pretty great.
With the 15 perfect reviews from Walmart at the time of ordering, I was expecting a great camera. The pictures come out ok. It did poor inside around lights. My older and much cheaper 6mp camera took better pictures indoors, pretty disappointing for this Olympus. The HD video was nice and the small camera size is nice. However, I would like better picture quality. I'm returning this camera back to Walmart.
The good: Thin (pocket friendly), many settings. The Bad: Over-exposure, software & interface incompatibility. I bought this camera for a trip out west. Wanted a small point-and-shoot camera for random vacation shots. If the sun was out, the pic would come out washed-out. Even if you are focusing on the horizen at high noon. I compensated by focusing on something brighter than what I wanted, then moving over to my target. Obvious issue with the auto iris. Also the software/compatibility is horrific. The software naming convention and organization is proprietary. Forget browsing your pics with a native programs. I tried to get around this by using Windows Live Essentials importer (which I prefer), but no-go. Haven't found any software that will pull from this camera. I ended up removing the SD card every timeI imported.
