This soap is a miracle worker. Legit I have been dealing with acne from 5th grade to all of highschool. I tried so many face washes from clean and clear to proactive (which kinda helped with pimples but not everything else I had on my face) I heard the benefits of African black soap and I decided to give it a try. Oh my gosh. 1 week already saw results. I have acne, acne scars, and a bunch of red stuff on my face. Because of this soap now my only problem is acne scars. I legit have no more pimples, and barely red stuff on my face. Don't question it, just buy it. And such a good price for something that a) works so well and b) lasts forever.
I love this stuff. It's exactly like the black soap that I once bought from a market in Accra. It does have bits of debris in it that aren't so nice against the skin, so I recommend using a washcloth or a sponge with it. Doesn't bother me though. I've been trying to find authentic and unaltered black soap in the U.S. for years. It clears my skin up like nothing else. Highly recommend giving it a try!
I don't often have acne—but I recently started birth control and needed something to control the hormonal acne I was getting. This worked to clear up my acne in THREE DAYS! This product, paired with the coconut oil moisturizer, is a miracle combination.
Really helped my skin. I've struggled with acne and going this natural route has helped clean it up immensely!! I use to use tons of different products. Now I use this African black soap and a moisturizer and my skin hasn't been this clear in forever!! Buying more now.
I bought this soap in the hopes that it would help with my sensitive skin and temperamental complexion. Not only has it cleared my skin, but it has done so without any toxins, harsh chemicals or animal testing. Alaffia is the brand for anyone who wants quality skin care products that are organic and filled with positive energy.
MY FAVORITE! I'm allergic to coconut so finding soap/cleansers/bodywash and beauty products in general is difficult for me. This not only cleanses without irritating my skin, but it also does EVERYTHING. I wash may face with it and my skin has never looked better and I've even used it as shampoo LOVE that it cleans without stripping my hairs natural oils.
this soap has cleared my acne so much i used to have bumps and texture all over my face and i would break out in random areas. my face got so much brighter and it cleared up within a week. i have dry and very sensitive skin and it did not irritate me at all. i would definitely recommend. i used it by cutting off a small piece and running it underwater then it would melt into your hands quickly and lather up. i washed my face for one minute. i use it once every single day because it is pretty drying so be sure to moisturize after using with an oil or moisturizer.
I've been using this product since 2019, and it's helped keep my skin glowing and acne/eczema free! There are only two ingredients within this product, which makes it gentle on the skin. I highly recommend this brand, and only this brand, for achieving your desired look!
This works great in the shower, where it get used only once per day. But for handwashing, it doesn't have enough time to dry between uses and kind of melts into the soap dish.
I'm trying to use more natural products in my life and this soap does just that. It feels a little gritty, which I like because it helps scrub my elbows/heels better than other, non-natural products out there. My only wish is that it were a little bigger! My boyfriend and I got only a couple weeks of use out of it.
