[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Minwax stain on the first job I did when I started my business in 2000. I love the size of the cans, the mixture of stains, and the clean-up afterward. It goes on smoothly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About the stuff about 90 days ago to redo my kitchen cabinets with I'm telling you this stuff is wonderful easy to work with good stuff looks great I also purchased Hellman's spar urethane clear gloss it is awesome I only wish I could afford more of it it's great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use minwax products to refinish furniture. Love the stains and wipe on finishes work great. I have been using minwax products for 40 years. I have never had a problem with the product.I used minwax products on all these projects in the photos below. Sometimes I mix different color stains to get the color that I want.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I renovate homes and recently picked up Minwax® Wood Finish in the shade EXPRESSO. I wanted the floors to look rich and elegant all while still showing the woods natural grain. I'm so impressed! These floors are white oak and poly-coated with a water base solution, to avoid any yellowing. I would highly recommend this color if you are looking to add depth to your space and give that luxurious feeling. I added photos from my instagram if you want to see what it looks like across the floor plan!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used many times...in the process of refinishing old wood floors now....just picked up 2 gallons last night!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my first apartment, I used the charcoal grey stain on white oak. They came out beautiful. My floors are my favorite thing about my apartment. I’m moving into a house and for sure using another minwax stain
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I build and refinish futniture for a living. I only use minwax stain. It has the best color and fastest dry time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still need 1 more coat on the top cabinets but I love the change! Looks very farmhouse/rustic and no more blonde/yellow cabinets! I scrubbed the cabinets with warm water and dawn - drying as I went... Then lightly sanded by hand! Put a coat of stain on, wait a minute, then wipe it off... These have 4 coats - it's super quick and easy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a quart can Ipswich Pine 221. Loved the color for my handmade bar piece for my new home build in my kitchen. Bought a gallon of the same color to stain 8 new Solid Wood doors for my new home and wanted them the same color as the bar piece. Did 3 of the doors and brought one into the house...Boy is the color not the same. Very disappointed and now have 3 ruined doors that cost too much to throw out. Not sure what to do with them now. Just to be sure I did a sample after the fact, stirred both stains for the same amount of time and they are definitely different. The lighter color in my pic is the color I love from the quart, the reddish color is from the gallon. The color reminds me more of Gunstock, which I did not want.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and tried it a few times. It was definitely not one coat coverage. Even after shaking and stirring the can, I was getting what looked like dirty water. Once I put the foam brush to the bottom of the can, it picked up all the color. So what happens when I get halfway through the can?? Probably all water. Not wasting any more money on this stuff.
