I used to have to cook the sausage, then the egg. Now I cook them at the same time. The first time I used it, I went to clean it, it came apart. I thought I broke it.
Easy way to make a fast breakfast sandwich in the morning. I was very impressed with the performance on how easy it was.
This small appliance does exactly as described. I love how it takes up little space on my kitchen counter top. I love that it's be easy to clean. I also love how simple and easy it is to use. Hamilton Beach kitchen appliances have yet to disappoint me
i like everything about it except that the plastic exterior gets very hot. Other than that I just Love it! So easy to use with a quick clean up. What's not to like?
This product was recommended by campers I met while on one of our adventures. It is a game changer and I'm amazed at the ease of which you can make breakfast sandwiches, they cook perfectly. I especially like to scramble the egg first, canadian bacon slice with cheese and a sliced muffin and you have heaven!

Works just as it should. It is become my go to for a breakfast sandwich when i'm on the go. Easy clean up once it has cooled down.
I'm an avid enjoyer of the Einstein Bros Farmhouse Egg Sandwich, and I really wanted to replicate it. The biggest issue with this gadget is that it doesn't balance cooking time well, unless you micromanage it a bit. The requested 4-5 minutes I've found isn't quite enough to fully cook the eggs (depends solely on size, but I'm a gal who likes a lot of egg) but if you wait any longer than that, the buns/bread/bagels burn badly. My tried and true method has been to only put the eggs in, allow them to cook for about 2-3 minutes and then VERY SLOWLY lift the hatch, make sure the eggs don't spill out, and put in the buns, ham, and cheese. Let it cook for 2-3 more minutes, and you've got wonderfully soft bagels, melted cheese, and no risk of salmonella :) I highly suggest pairing it with the Einstein Bros Garlic Schmear (I found a recipe heehee)
