Covenientional rotisserie oven combo!! Loving it thus far. My first very rotisserie chicken came out juicy and delicious.
Love this oven! Temperatures settings seem to be the same as my gas oven. No problem baking cakes, cookies, cornbread. Did not buy it for the rotisserie option so I have not used it. Oven does get hot on the outside so you have to be careful but what oven doesn't get hot on the outside.
Love this oven. It comes with extras my other oven didn't have. I would highly recommend this product saves on electric plus does not heat house up like a regular oven.
I really like this counter top. oven. It fits a 12+" pizza, 2 shelves, rotisserie, and 2 pans. It has a wire insert for one of the pans for meat draining. It is not super heavy. It is stainless, so I bought stainless Polish. The thing I like the best is the constant on button. I turn to left and let Preheat and cook as long as I want. Some others will only allow 90 minutes of cooking. You can leave this one without a timer that shuts it off when it wants. It has a pull out crumb self that I line with aluminum foil. I also put some on back too. I am over protective to keep clean.
This was bought to replace my large oven, which died, until I can afford a new one. I was surprised to see the Hamilton Beach name again, which I thought was long gone, and that it got good reviews. I much prefer the commercial/pro-kitchen design of this to the other toaster ovens on the market. For me, it was between this and the Cuisinart toaster oven, and I liked the basic (non-digital) controls, as well as the fact that you get 2 racks and broiling pan that acts like a rack and slides into the rack slots. I think it's cheap that many of the toaster ovens give you just one rack and try to get you to buy another one, as well as accessories. This one also has a rotisserie for those who cook meat; I don't, but it's nice that this extra was included for those who do. In fairness, I haven't used it a ton of times, but it's done a good job on pizza. I probably will use this mainly for pizza and possibly for broiling shrimp or baking potatoes, as well as cookies and muffins; basically, things I wouldn't want to do in the microwave. You have to be careful not to either place the top rack too high or the temp too high; it overly browned tortillas I was toasting and Brussels sprouts I cooked in a baking dish. I would probably put these in the center rather than at the top. I don't really care for the way you set the timer on it, which is to turn the knob past :40 and then turn it back to the time you want, but then, I didn't want a digital panel for my settings. I think this is on the larger side re: capacity for toaster ovens, but that being said, it's still a tiny space compared to a full-size oven, and you need to be careful putting things into it or taking them out when it's hot. I don't like that the door is just a simple hinge that you have to manually lower gently it until it touches the counter, otherwise it would just fall and slam onto the counter. This made me nervous, as I've read about the glass on different toaster-oven doors shattering. But I don't know if other toaster ovens open any differently. I like that this has a variety of settings, like bake, broil, and convection. And the "ding" that tells you the timer's shutting off is pleasant; I've read reviews about others that make people jump out of their chairs. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.
I haven't used it yet. Going to use outside in the summer for baking. I had a previous one with all the features of this one %26 I loved it. Too hot on my kitchen in the summer to heat up the room with my big oven
So far so good! This is an excellent table oven/rotessierie. I've only owned this over a month and used maybe 10 times and no issues so far. I love the rotessierie feature which i used twice to cook a 5lb prime rib and product came out perfect. Unit works as advertised and just hoping it will last as long as my old Hamilton which i owned for over 15 years and only replaced by this one because of a broken handle on cover. Unit arrived with minor cosmetic issue but for the price I paid its still worth it.
My experience with Walmart was excellent from the start---their impressive web page and near- instant response to ALL questions and the delivery to my door! Walmart responded via email within 24 hours at least FIVE times. This . . . was NOT the problem. I tried baking and broiling in the new oven, a disaster with both. Potatoes exploded, my broiled ribeye steak was black on the edges and tough as leather to chew! I've baked potatoes exactly the SAME WAY for fifty years---NEVER had one explode--- and what a mess!?!?!?! Cleaning the oven inside and out is a total nightmare---its material is NOT cleanable! A rod on both racks broke loose at one end after ONE bake and ONE broil !!!! This thing is so fragile! My normal oven is like new after fifteen years! What a terrible product!
I have had and enjoyed two of this model toaster oven. Extremely disappointed when this oven registered 100 degrees higher than the setting! Tested it with a new oven thermometer several times. Burned a cake using the displayed setting. Baked pans of the same biscuits in this toaster oven and in my regular oven. You can see the difference. Manufacturer told me it was "normal" to have this temperature variant. I quote "Due to the design of countertop ovens, it is common for these appliances to experience a 50-to-75-degree temperature variance. In this instance, we would recommend that the temperature for your recipe(s) are assessed and edited for your appliance. " DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!
This oven is not XL. It barely fit a small Pyrex. When I turned it on a HEAVY smell of sewage came from it. I know it says there may be an odor when you first turn it on but this was toxic waste. It stunk up my entire home. I had to open every window. This product is absolute garbage and is extremely bad for your health. I returned immediately.
