Bought this item to make beef jerky. It worked exactly as I had hoped. Dehydrated the five trays in just over five hours turning the meat once after three hours. Not sure if I needed to do the turning. The jerky was great. I will try it with fruit in the summer months when they are at their best for flavor.
I wanted a dehydrator to dry herbs and vegetables from my garden but didn't want to invest a ton of money. This dehydrator fits the bill. Will be starting out with sweet potatoes for my grand dogs
The product does not have a big footprint. It's very easy to “set and forget”. Everything is easy to clean. Parts are dishwasher safe. The foods we've tried so far have come out perfectly. There's a pause setting As well as a clear lid so you can check on the progress. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a simple dehydrator with really good features.

Bought this for my husband to make jerky, works great he loves it.
I use it to make beef and chicken jerky and it works great I love it. My only con about it is cleaning the racks :( . they are a bit of a pain to clean and get everything off with the dried marinade from the meat [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I Purchased This Item, March, 19th,2018,"Online" through the Walmart Website,..The Site Had Promised It would be delivered by March 29th,'18....First of all, It arrived earlier then Promised, it was delivred by the 26th, in which i was already impressed,...then After the first use of it, It Worked Great For De-Hydrating Yellow Onions, n Fresh Garlic Cloves, It took very little counter space, in which, Yu Can See, I have very little of...For The 3-4 Onions that I cut, n with the amount of Garlic that I chopped, about 15-20 Whole Cloves...I got a fair amount In Return,..I Would Greatly Recommend This Product, If Yu Plan On Doing Alot Of Food Storage, Especially If Yu Have A nasty Habit Of Food waste.
Nice looking unit, liked the square design (as opposed to a round dehydrator). It was far too loud for my bungalow. It could be heard whirling throughout the house. After one use it was returned to the store. Otherwise it did a great job.
