My husband bought this about a month ago. I didn't realize at the time how much I would appreciate it. It's a higher quality stainless steel and is so easy to clean. I love that center burner! Boiling water is so quick. Also the grates fit so well it's easy to move pans around the area . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We had all LG appliances installed with our kitchen remodel and love everyone of them!! This beautiful cooktop is so easy to clean, the center burner for fast boil is such a great feature! We could not be happier with our choice!!!
I LOVE this cook top. The only drawback is that the burners may be too powerful where one will need to use quality cookware and keep a watchful eye while cooking to keep from burning the food. It has excellent heating power on all burners and it is so easy to clean up. The grid is sturdy, level, substantial and strong. The middle burner is excellent for high heat stir frying in a wok. The stainless steel sealed cook top easily cleans up with with just wiping with a damp cloth. I am so pleased with this cook top's performance I recommend it to everyone. Great appliance and I look forward to many years actually enjoying cooking with this cook top.
I bought this new cooktop to put in my new kitchen addition, I had to wait months to have it installed because they were so slow with the new build. It was worth the wait, I absoultly love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product and looks great. Hard to clean but so is everything else….no problem. Well worth it…. LCG3611ST
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my cook top in my island. Pairs well with other appliances. Easy cleaning.
in less that two years we have had every knob on this cook top break. First off, we like how well it works and the overall design. Our daughter has not yet learned to turn down the heat when she is cooking soup, pasta, etc and the boil overs are easy to clean. The individual burners are quick and easy to put back into place with little fussing to get them re-aligned to their proper position. I have had zero issues with this cook top EXCEPT for the knobs. They are absolute garbage. They look very nice when new, there are three little blue LED lights that light up when you turn on a burner and the light shines through the top of the knob. It never occurred to us that LG was using cheap plastic to make these knobs when we bought the cook top. Using plastic is not necessarily bad, but when every one of them has broken in almost the exact same spot where the knob attaches to the stem, its pretty obvious that its either a design flaw, or inferior materials were used. Given the rest of the cook top is well designed and has not had a single problem I think LG went too cheap with the knobs.
We are VERY dissapointed with this stove which we purchased new in '09. After 3 years of normal household use, ALL 5 of the stove knobs are broken. We have resorted to using needle nose pliers to turn the burners on and off. I have will have to replace all the knobs at my own expense ($29 EACH + S/H). I would not recommend this product.
I purchased a complete set of kitchen appliances from LG including a washer and dryer. The gas stove top is very bad quality. The knobs break continuously and the paint has come off. I am on my second set of knobs and need to reorder my 3rd set. LG will not even split the cost of the knobs. I think LG should replace the knobs of the original purchaser until they can redesign the knob. When I first purchased my set I thought it was good quality so my son purchased a complete set as well and a washer and dryer. So much for customer loyalty.
I moved into a completely renovated home will all LG appliances. I LITERALLY have been here a total of 10 months. Because I was an "Empty Nester" this cook-top was hardly used. When my daughter came home because of Covid-19, we found ourselves cooking three meals a day. She was home 3 weeks and it started leaking gas from the knob, like so many other people complain about. I went to get it fixed, the tech told me,"By the time I take it to the shop, take it a part, order parts and return it..you COULD GET A NEW ONE" UUUGGHHH!!!! Really??!! This cook-top is circa 2017!! NOT 2007!!!! Soooooooo disappointing! and of course..we're out of warranty :o(
