When buying jewelry on a budget often you're disappointed and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It was mine and my husbands 30th anniversary and I picked this ring as my gift, boy am I glad I did! I am very happy with my purchase and will be shopping with Pompeii3 again.
I don't normally write review's, but this company went above and beyond for me and I feel like they deserve some good feedback. Me and my fiance bought a ring from them, and I'll be honest, I was terrified. There are more bad reviews of this company than good ones. I remember even googling if they were a scam because of their awesome prices. After doing a ton of research, we decided to place our order and I couldn't be happier! I'm so glad I wasn't scared away by all the negative reviews. Which is the main reason I'm writing this one. Most people only leave a review if they're upset, which is why there are so many bad ones out there. I'm only giving them a 4 star because, although their customer service was GREAT, there were a few minor issues. The sizing was a little off, the diamonds were loose and I feel the clarity is a little less than they say it is. Now, like I said earlier, I did EXTENSIVE research before deciding to buy anything and I'm so glad I did. I learned there were quite a few people saying their diamonds were loose, which is why I brought it to a local jewelry store the same day it arrived. They did confirm they were loose and charged me $20 to tighten them- a price I looked into before even placing the order just in case. It was another $20 to have it resized but well worth it. Pompeii does offer ring resizing but there was no way I was sending my ring back after I just got it. Lol To be fair, it got delivered a heck of a lot quicker than it should have thanks to them going above and beyond for me. I had a party and needed the ring by a certain date, so I could show it off of course, and they expedited my order without a problem. I checked to make sure they could do that before even placing my order. I actually didn't expect them to answer the phone by the number of reviews commenting on their customer service. They answered pretty quickly every single time I called them though, and if I was ever placed on hold, it wasn't for very long. So I 100% recommend this company to ANYONE! And just to clear the air, I was in no way paid for this review or even asked. PS. I'm adding some pics of my ring. You can see the clarity isn't as great as advertised, there's a decent sized black spec in center stone and it actually looks like a diamond is missing on the band- which it is not, it's just a dull diamond. The clarity of the center stone is not as clear as pictured. It's frosty looking. The pictures online don't show visible space surrounding the center stone but the actual ring has a visible space around the center stone. There's not enough reliable pictures on the item so I took a chance on buying it and I'm still undecided on keeping it. The setting on it is very round and protruding at the base where it meets the band so it kind of pushes my engagement band away.
