It's a really great product and provides a good hold on my asian hair that sticks up because I feel insecure about it sticking out because it makes my head look bigger when it's really not.
I have tried so many more expensive products and have given or thrown them away. This product smells fresh and clean and holds all day long. Awesome product!
I bought a tube of suave gel and really liked it then I ran out and couldn't find it any where locally so I tried many other brands costing a lot more but no of them were as good as suave gel.
Fantastic product that works great when used the way my stylist recommends: apply to wet hair and then use blow dryer. When I had difficulty finding more I went on line. That's when I read a review mentioning itching. Puzzled, I looked at the ingredients. It included hydrolyzed soy protein which I am allergic to. That probably explains a bump on my head very similar to ones I have gotten on my body from eating soy protein.
I usually mix this product with the Suave Styling Paste and it helps hold my hair really well, also it doesn't look shiny when it dries. But if its windy you might want hairspray or a hoodie to cover it considering the hold isn't that strong.
It holds hair pretty well (2 stars for that), but don't trust what it says on a label. It flakes badly! So I am not satisfied at all. Suave: How can I get my refund?
It's ridiculous not to be able to find this product. I had been using for years now can't find without having to buy on line. Sauce you lost another customer
Was a Groom & Clean customer for years. Than Suave discontinued the product. Tried the styling gel. The end result look like a wig. Than within a hour my head began to itch. Need to shower to get rid of the itch. A few days later checked the directions and followed to the letter. Same result very itchy. Washed it out. Waited a week than tried again, the result was worse. Three strikes and your out.
I normally purchase L'Oreal Studio Line Clean Gel Strong Hold but I haven't been able to fine it so I tried Suave Professionals Men Styling Gel Firm Hold. I found the product to be watery. It does not have a firm hold. And I was not satisfied with this product
I ran out of my usual hair styling gel and used bought this suave firm hold. I was embarrassed to find out how bad it had flaked at the end of the day. It's in the trash now.
