Purchased two bottles, kept one, returned one with broken bottle and tablets spilled in shipping box with other opened and damaged items. Otherwise I have used this product for years, a very good product. Only ordered because it was out of stock in my local Super Center.
The product is great but one of the bottles was cracked. Maybe use a box instead of an envelope. Shipping was fast.
I have compared this product with the leading brand and I like this one better. At first, it may seem to have a chalkier consistency, but that in fact helps as the tablet dissolves quickly in one's mouth and gets to work right away on the acid in your stomach.
I've taken antacid chewables for years and years. The first ones I was introduced to were the berry ones so I always tended to grab those when I needed more. I just happened to see these the last time I needed some and thought peppermint might be a good flavor for this. I can't believe I hadn't been using the peppermint all along! It is the absolute best flavor for this and to me kind of makes the "chalky" taste less noticeable. I can pretend I'm having a dinner mint instead of an antacid tablet. Highly recommend.
I use many equate items.....The Equate Tums work just as good as the name brand Tums. I SAVE MONEY. Thank you Walmart.Your. tops in my opinion !!!!!!!
I've been impressed with how well this works and I appreciate that Equate brand doesn't put artificial colors in this. I like this better than name brand. This helps take away the nauseous feeling and helps me feel better very quickly. I've also had great luck with it working on heartburn.
The only thing I dislike is not knowing where they are made. sometimes you just want to know. but they are very smooth texture surprisingly so I usually have to take two two calm my acid and maybe one half an hour later. it's a huge bottle and should last, overall I am satisfied with this product especially the smoothness and non-gritty texture.
There was one bottle of tums that was completely broken and tums were all inside the bag! These should be shipped in a box with bubble wrap!
Ordered ten that came in two shipments: one came with four of these in a nice box and the other shipment came with six in a mailing envelope. One plastic container was completely smashed with the entire contents (160 tablets) emptied into the bottom of the envelope. Another was partially smashed. Asking for a return was just too much hassle. Be advised if you order these antacid tablets you may experience something similar.
Very disappointed with the shipment, bottle came broken. I had to reorder it, but since at the time this flavor was temporarily unavailable, I went on with a different flavor. Again, the second bottle came broken!
