I used a different brand lancing device for many years. I switched to the ONETOUCH Delica Plus LANCING Device not that long ago because their ONETOUCH Delica Plus "Extra Fine 33 Gauge" Lancets are the "thinest, smallest diameter lancets you can get
i already had the one touch delica plus system th at came with the lancing device. it wore out and i needed a new one. what i received is identical and works just fine.
Simple, easy to use, good value
I am using an older OneTouch Ultra meter and the new device doesn't quite fit into the slot of the case. Other than that, I am very satisfied. Thank you
It is a lancing device that has good features and not as good. It takes a redesigned lancet, making it proprietary and thus not very universal. It features 14 positions, but the top number is 7, with halfway points between each integer. Because the 7th position often yields minimal blood flow in some of my fingers, I'd prefer 9 or 10 positions (18 or 20 in their thinking). Compared to other devices, it is fairly sturdy and easy to use, except that a tab in the removable front end (where a lancet is placed) broke, which prompted this purchase. The new lancets ("delica") come in two gauges for the device, 30 and 33. In wire sizing, the larger the number, the thinner the wire. I prefer the 30 gauge size but that's not what the doctor ordered (or maybe that's what insurance mandates); perhaps that's why blood flow isn't great with some fingers. Overall, the device is fairly strong and sturdy, penetrates fingers quite well, and is not horribly expensive.
My new lancing device works but is not made as well as my old one which stopped lancing and could not get through your CS so I just purchased a new one.
This product is poorly designed and the plastic breaks routinely. I don't think it's an accident.
The spring action in the Lancette is weak, needs to be all the way up in order to pierce skin for blood sugar results
This is my third one of these. They're very fragile and break easily. The only reason I buy them is that I have a ton of lancets and they fit in my kit
item is very flimsy, i have the same device from 5 years ago. the older model is very durable
