These are better than most of the earplugs that I have used in the past. They are attached to a band that'll allow you to rest them on your neck while you're not using them. They also detach from the band. I prefer to use them detached. It's a set of two that comes in a pack, which leaves room to loose a pair and if you're like me, it's a very likely thing to happen. The earplugs are reusable. It wasn't mentioned on the package or the description if they were dishwasher safe, but it's safe to say that they are not. I cleaned them by hand. They weren't to difficult to clean, but if you're trying to clean the ear plugs separately from the bands, then I'd recommend you have something to cover your drain in case you accidentally drop the ear plugs as you're washing them. They are small, so they can get a little difficult to hang on to once they're wet and soapy. The earplugs also fit in nicely. They're long enough to make sure you don't have to worry about loosing them in your ears. I used them when going to sleep. I usually have issues with my husband's snoring at night. The earplugs didn't necessarily drown out the sound of my husband's snoring, but rather made the noise not so overwhelming. I'm usually woken up at night by his snoring, but haven't been since I started using the earplugs.
First off I'll let you know that I am hearing impaired and know the value of good hearing protection for everybody! Save your precious hearing with these banded earplugs. The band is heavyweight plastic that is flexible enough to easily get around your neck and not fall off. The plugs themselves are removable and reusable with a NRR of 29 which is a Noise Reduction Rating of 29 decibels. This is an excellent rating and suitable for use with power tools, lawn mowers, working in loud factories and even shooting firearms. I recommend this product to anyone needing hearing protection.
These stay in your ears nicely any size you may have. I liked how small they are and easy to use. I have been using them while I mow my yard and they take down the sound a lot as well as keep grass out of my ears. I highly recommend these they wash well and so I can use them over and over.
These ear plugs are soft and stay in place. The band keeps them together so I don't keep loosing them. They are great for travel where they help cancel out noise. Whether your needing quiet from a headache or trying to get some rest these earplugs come in handy. Also, loud concerts can be enjoyed without fear of ear damage. These are washable so they can be used again and again making them a great value.
I found these ear plugs very easy use and the did not pop or slide out during the day. The frame is very light weight and quite rigid. The instructions state to roll the ear plug before insertion, I found it was easier to use the old military method of lifting and pulling back on the ear as you insert each side. The plugs were a little stiff at first and soften up with use during the day. I used them when operating mower equipment and weed eating. They do knock down the noise from the equipment. They were a little uncomfortable at first from the band pressure that keeps them in place, but that passed after while and I became accustomed to the feel of the ear plugs. I normally wear foam plugs and constantly lose them. These fit around my neck when not is use and I can hang them up in the car or in the shop. The do clean up quickly and with little effort.

These 2 pairs of ear plugs each are connected by a band of plastic that goes around your head or neck to keep them firmly in place. We have several other pairs similar to these that we utilize when mowing the lawn to save our hearing – but those others have larger foam inserts into your ears. The actual ear plugs in these are made of silicone and are noticeably smaller in size. They were a bit too small for me and uncomfortable, however, my wife loved them and will be exclusively using these going forward for our mowing purposes. These earplugs are touted to reduce sound up to 29db across all frequencies. Great – if they fit you – to reduce sound in any environment – noisy work/construction environments, concerts, sporting events like automobile racing or monster truck events. The band not only keeps them in place in your ears, but keeps them securely around your neck so you don't lose them when not actually using them! Because of the band on them – I don't know how you could use them to sleep with – so I don't think that is an optimal use of these ear plugs.
These earbuds are great for the gun range. They block out the loudness of gun fire and you can still safely communicate with one another. Comfortable feel to them and they go behind the back of your head. Also would be very useful for anything that has loud noises and you still can hear people talking around you.
I'm not sure these will cover sound when it comes to mowing the lawn, which is why I wanted them. They do block some sound but not complete. I had my children talking to me to see how much sound would actually be blocked and I heard most of what was said. They are comfortable and seem well made.
We thought these would be great to have, but we were greatly disappointed with these reusable ear plugs. First, they do not keep out noise. We could still hear everything, the only difference was the volume wasn't as high for some noises. Second, they are not comfortable at all. It didn't matter what age or size head, young or old they actually hurt my ears after only a few minutes wearing them. We really wanted these ear plugs. Our house is small and with all the remote learning then social media, and tv there is a lot of talking, noise etc. in our small area. A good pair of ear plugs would have been nice to have but these missed the mark.
I have five children ages 10, 8, 6, 4, and 18 months. We're quarantined in the house so image how loud it gets here. I took this as an opportunity to test these out. I know that they are designed to block out extra noise but not completely block out all the sound. These did nothing. I thought maybe it was just me or maybe I didn't have them in right so I had my husband try them. He said the same thing. He said they weren't good and I agree. If it can't even block out even a tad bit of kids making noise, how can it help you at something like a sporting event or anything else that's loud? Zero stars wasn't an option but if I could I would give these zero stars. Even when I pushed these in my ears as far as they could go, they did nothing. Save your money and look for other options.
