This is there best accessory ever made for the vita mix. I have 4 kids and each one wants their own type of fruit. Now I can accommodate them as normally I would make it all the same. Only one problem. I dropped it and the magnet inside broke so you can see it is cracked inside and now has rust inside just where the magnet has the crack. The warranty is amazing so I know they will send me a new one. It doesn't affect its function.
I use this most every day, once for my husband and once for myself before we head out the door. I feel like it's a healthy decision on our part to choose green smoothies as our breakfast. I would rather not be pouring much liquid into the cup, but the travel cup does need more than the 40-oz because there's no tamper to push down. But once I figured out that more liquid reduces cavitation, I have had no issues with this. Great product. Very convenient.
I bought my Vitamix and cups about six months ago and it was the best purchase. I use it everyday and love it!

I bought this item and I love the container but I don't like is the lid. Very bulky and not easy to open. I also find that by using frozen fruit first ( as advised in the book) it gets stuck on the buttom of the container. Not a big problem. There are ways around this.
You have to keep these cups vertical or they'll leak. Found out the hard way and was very disappointed.
I have 2 of these larger cups they claim dishwasher safe I always used the top rack but they are still ruined. Water gets inside the plastic some how causing the metal strip inside to rust ant then the machine cannot read them . They are great cups if you don't wash in dishwasher
The cup has a double insulated wall and liquid is leaking between the walls of the cup
While I love my Vitamix blender and use it everyday for smoothies, this cup is such an awkward size I've only used it once. I bought it to drink my smoothie in car on way to work, and keep it cold. But normal size straws are too short and fall inside, and I haven't been able to find any extra long straws. It's too dangerous to try to tip this cup back to drink from while driving, and just awkward overall to drink from even at home. It should come with a long reusable straw. For the price, and the quality of Vitamix blenders, I expected better.
Gave this as a Christmas gift To a Viramix junkie to find out lid leaks. Shame quality doesn't align with Vitamix machine quality.
