I wasn't familiar with this brand of oil. But, we are happy that we got a chance to try it. The Ellia Eucalyptus oil has an aroma that reminds you of a spa. A little goes a long way in a diffuser. It has a very natural, woodsy scent and definitely relaxes. This is not an oil that can be used as a remedy in your water and such. It's for external use only and the warning says to keep out of reach of children, and keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. It's just right for a diffuser, though. Keeps your house feeling cleansed and warm. We will definitely look into purchasing more.
Nice smell and works well
I really like this Ellia eucalyptus oil, because of its 100% pure, and very strong woodsy, pine minty scent. It comes in a pretty violet glass bottle to protect against UV light and to extend the shelf life. It's not organic, but batch tested and bottling, to make sure free from pesticides, herbicides, and contaminants. There are about 280 drops in this 15 ml (.5 oz) bottle, so should last me about a month, or so. I use it to help take head, hand, and leg pains away by rubbing a few drops on skin, putting in diffuser to purify air, clear the sinuses, and helps me breathe a lil better having Emphysema. Sometimes I put a few drops in spray bottle, to spray around outside front, and back doors, and chicken coop, to keep flies, mosquitoes, and dirty rats away (they all hate this smell). This is a higher quality scented oil and I would fully recommend. Not as expensive as some other brands on other sites so well worth the price. It is originated in Asia and bottled in the USA. Thank GOD for the eucalyptus tree, for the countless healing benefits, for you and me :-)
Eucalyptus Oil I love the smell of eucalyptus oil , it opens my stuffy nose .Eucalyptus oil works on my skin blemishes they dry up overnight .the oil replenishes my skin too . I use it in a vaporizer to open my lungs to breathe easier . You can use it for temporary toothache relief, just rub on the side of your face where the affected tooth is or for sore throat ,even a sore toe is relieved by eucalyptus oil . The smell is so good just add it to a cloth in the dryer your clothes smell great and insects will avoid you . The bottle has a top that will dispense one drop or many drops as needed . The bottle is dark colored to stop any light deterioration to the oil making it last a very long time in storage . I keep a bottle in the kitchen and bathroom to disinfect counters when added to soapy water . The aroma is invigorating and pleasant . I use it mixed with coconut oil to repell fleas and it works quite well . I have yet to run out of uses for this natural sweet oil . I have used natural oils many years and this one really works great in candles or potpourri anywhere you need refreshing smell. If there is skunk odor use it under your nose and it blocks odors or in cleaning bad smells .
I could not be more pleased with Ellia By Homedics Arm-Eo15Euc 15mL Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil, Eucalyptus. This is a 100% pure, therapeutic grade, essential oil. I had never used this brand before, but I am very pleased with it. It is described as warming, cleansing, invigorating, clarifying and woodsy. I found it to be all that and much more. When we put the recommended drops in our diffuser (I actually use a few more because I like a good strong scent) it really and truly transforms our home into a realm of tranquility. When you walk into the house, it smells clean, fresh, warm and inviting. We live in the deep South and we have had the house closed up tight through the entire hot summer months, with the A/C running constantly. We also have three fur-babies. When the house is closed up for any length of time, it begins to smell stale and doggie. Since I have been using the Ellia By Homedics Arm-Eo15Euc 15mL Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil, Eucalyptus, all the bad smells are gone and my home is left with this wonderful aroma. I have tried other brands of essential oils, but this one is definitely one of my favorites. The scent seems to linger a lot longer. I strongly recommend this product. I am looking forward to trying other scents from Ellia By Homedics.
Great oil. I've tried a lot of different oils...high end and cheap ones. This ranks right up there with the most expensive. It's strong...my husband commented on that- but I love it. Only a few drops in our diffuser and night has us sleeping all through the night. It also has a childproof lid which is the first I've seen of this- could be a perk or negative depending on your situation. Perk for us as we have young kiddos! This is extremely potent Eucalyptus oil! A few drops go a long way and I have tried a lot of different essential oils and this has to be the best smelling Eucalyptus oil I have tried. A few drops in my diffuser and my entire room smells great. The perfect scent to wind down after a long day or in the middle of the day if having a rough day. I have put on my skin with no carrier oil and didn't have any issues but the product states to mix with carrier oil. I have never heard of Ellia but I am a fan.Really in love with this essential oil, the best.The scent is excellent. No funny, chemical notes. although it does not indicate on the bottle where the oil is sourced from. A few drops in my diffuser and my home smells like the Eucalyptus fields in Provence. altough the scrnt is extremely strong this is one oil I would recommend to any and everyone. Once it is mixed with an carrier oil it is to die for.
This Therapeutic Grade Eucalyptus oil is very strong. It has a powerful scent. When I opened the box to get the bottle of oil out I noticed it is child proof. On the top of the lid it shows a diagram of how to open the bottle. It basically opens like normal "medicine" bottles where you apply pressure to the top of the lid and turn it while applying pressure. I love this safety feature because I have children in my home. I used this oil 3 ways and these were my results: The first way I used just 3 drops in a large hot bath and it had a great smell and left that relaxing scent on my body. **FYI** You don't have to worry about accidentally pouring too much or too little. After it is opened it has a dropper type lid inside so that you can only squeeze out drops. The second way I used this oil was added 1 drop to my massage oil. Remember, you should always dilute these drops. It is never recommended to be massaged or used on the body in the pure form. Anyway, it gave a nice warmth and great aroma to my massage oil. The third way I used the oil was in an oil diffuser. It gave off a strong scent, but it didn't last as long as other oils I have which is why it got 4 out of 5 stars. I am very happy with the oil, overall.
I received Ellia Eucalyptus Essential Oil in a .5 fluid ounce bottle free from the Spark Reviewer Program. Ellia Essential Oils comes with a child safety lid that was difficult for me to open. Although the box had information in several languages, there were no instructions for a person who is new to essential oils. Consequently, I did not like the vague instructions on the box. Eucalyptus 100% pure is very strong unless diluted. I did like the aroma of the eucalyptus which is a highly concentrated therapeutic grade with a long shelf life. I will purchase more scents because this is something special you can do to freshen up your home. In addition, I have used Eucalyptus Essential Oils on my skin, in a spray bottle and in a diffuser without any problems.
I received the Ellia brand Eucalyptus oil as a free sample in order to write a non-biased review. My wife and I use essential oils in our daily lives. We buy these from a well-known essential oil company, so we are very familiar with essentials oils. First I will talk about Ellia's Eucalyptus oil I received. It came in an attractive 15ml bottle. The bottle is a dark glass which is what is recommended for storing essential oils. When smelling the eucalyptus oil from the bottle it smells similar to Vick's vapor rub; however, I do not feel that it has a strong, concentrated smell like the other oils I am used to. I also feel like it has a touch of a perfumey smell. The bottle's fine print lists for external use only, which is typical of eucalyptus oil. I applied 1-2 drops of the oils to my wrists and it did smell good and made me think if applied to the chest it may help symptoms of a congested chest. Unfortunately, about 5 minutes after applying the oil (not diluted) the smell was completely gone! This is a huge red flag for me. I have several pure essential oils and they are so strong I always have to wash my hands after applying because the smell is so strong and long-lasting. So with just that fact, I would not recommend this Eucalyptus oil. I can't speak for their other oils, but I wouldn't purchase any after this experience. I researched the company's website and they do say their oils are 100% pure and therapeutic grade. They do test their purity by gas chromatography and mass spectrometry; however, these tests aren't available for public view. All their FAQs on their website look great, specifying their purity standards; however, unlike other companies they don't list their oils as being safe to consume. I did diffuse this Eucalyptus oil and it smelled like eucalyptus and I would assume it would work to help congestion symptoms while being constantly diffused in a small room. My recommendation is to research your oils and companies. If you are just planning to diffuse this oil Ellia's brand will probably put out a nice aroma, but probably isn't worth the price.
Unlike the peppermint, the eucalyptus scent is gone in 10minutes I needed to add more than 10 drops so it will last longer.
