Ok hear me out: I have n-e-v-e-r liked foundation brushes! Seriously- every time I tried one in the past, the finish would look like a joke on me. I think it was a combination of the foundations I was using and my application technique. But I also wasn't getting the finish I wanted using fingers or sponges/blenders. So I started watching some videos. Tutorials. And then I started searching again for a decent makeup brush that would do what I wanted it to do. Enter this ELF foundation brush. Because price is a big consideration of mine too, especially these days when it is so expensive just to eat! This (finally!) gave me the smooth finish I was looking for. After some trial and error, my technique is now this: I place the foundation on my face with fingertips and gently buff in with light fingertips. Then (after washing my hands) I (very lightly!) pat the product into my skin while holding this brush vertically. The key is vertical and very, very light pressure. It produces great results. The foundations I used this successfully with, with this technique are It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better and Neutrogena Serum Foundation.

Absolutely love this foundation brush! I saw it highly rated in some beauty review not associated with Walmart and tried it since it's VERY reasonably priced. Perfect size, perfect application - no leftover little hairs on my face like some other "high" quality brushes leave. I'm so happy to have found it and I already ordered two more!

I purchased this solely to apply by tinted BB Cream (i read to not use your hands and it will match better to your face color - turns out, it's true!). This is a great foundation brush for such a low price!
This is a nice soft bristle brush . It's a little smaller then I usually use but works fine .
