Loved this item..so sorry it's been discontinued.I really loved the Olive & Green Tea Dead Sea Salt Moisturizing Soak. When family visited me..they loved it.. Wish you could bring it back..nothing like it..
PLEASE SHEA MOISTURE DO NOT EVER DISCONTINUE THIS!!!! This product has a pleasant smell. I thought it would smell oily or something but definitely doesn't. Not an oily product at all and does not leave a film. I feel very clean after using this product. It lathers up great omg. I only use a bit and it does the job. Which is money saving because you don't have to constantly restock.
I'm a pretty rough and tumble guy who would buy whatever at Walmart was cheapest. Da wifey got it for me cause it was marked down, and even though I protested because it was more than two bucks, after using this product I will never buy anything else again. Leaves my skin feeling REFRESHED - which was something I don't think I've ever experienced before. Plus I only use a tiny bit and it lathers up AMAZINGLY - this bottle will last me 6 months!!! I will buy this product for the rest of my life and highly encourage you ladies to buy some for your man - I'll bet you'll get the same accolades
I'm trying out a couple of new scents but I will still order my olive oil and green tea since right now its my favorite. I'm so glad that I don't have to use the products that are not right for my skin any more. These products are made just for me. Thank you.
I have been using this body wash and the companion lotion for about 10 years now. I am in a chlorinated pool 5 to 6 days per week and always shower off using my Olive and Green Tea wash. My skin stays soft and moisturized and I've been able to recommend these products to many people in the locker room. Truly a great product! And I love that the scent is light and fresh, too!
Shea Moisture Olive and Green Tea Body Lotion is not a lotion. It's a very thick and amazingly moisturizing cream. It works better than any other body or hand cream I have ever used. That being said, the bottle packaging is very frustrating as the cream is so thick it's virtually impossible to get out of the bottle, even when the cap is removed. Please don't change the product, but please consider a more flexible tube or tub for packaging! 5 star product in a 2 star bottle
I am extremely disappointed with the reformulation of this product. I used this product every day for over 5 years. It is now a completely different body wash and a mediocre one at that. Anyone have any idea how to make a close approximation of the original formula at home?
You added synthetic fragrance + color, paraffin, and DEA....... I have been using this product for several years now. I recently purchased a replacement and I don't know if your company got bought out by Unilever or what, but the quality is very poor. The mixture is cloudy, the smell is synthetic, and now it is oily and takes forever to wash off. "family owned" doesn't really apply anymore since you sold out, You should take that off your packaging.
This body wash has been my favorite, and only, ever since I discovered it a couple of years ago. It had an amazingly soft scent. It was rich and moisturizing. My skin felt very pampered. I had a few in stock and I only recently purchased a new one and noticed it is awful now. At first I thought it was the store I purchased it from, but when I ordered five from a different vendor I realized they really did change the product! The new one is watery, has a strong flowery scent, and does not do anything for my skin. It doesn't even have the same color. I'll be looking for a new body wash, as well as a replacement for all the other products I used to use from Shea Moisture. They'll probably ruin them soon enough anyway.
Now that I have used the "new formula" for a few weeks, I am updating my previous review...The product is so watery, you don't have to squeeze the bottle - it flows right out when you turn the bottle upside down. (The original was a thick gel.) It has an extremely strong, fake floral scent. (The original had a mild fresh scent.) I have also discovered that Shea Moisture sold out to Unilever, so that probably explains the "cheapening" of the product. Of course, they have not lowered the price for the lower quality. AND the photo of the product on this web page (as of 2/10/2019), is NOT the product that you can buy in stores. It is a photo of the original product. Guess you can add false advertising to the long list of negatives for this product. Wish I could still buy the original. :( :(
