I gave this as a gift which was opened and used right away. This was the best product for the price.
Great gift for my boyfriend who is a mechanic.
its the best value out there for an inspection camera. For just a basic color camera you cant beat the price. The camera is lighted to see in dark places, uses AA batteries, and has a nice and long "wand". Granted it doesn't include a case, but to most auto techs such as me, all they do is take up space in your box. I just cant comment on battery life cause i just bought it today, but that shouldn't be a problem as i doubt ill use this for hours on end. So for me, this is awesome.
excellent product very goog for price would recomend it to any one
Works great in tight spots. Wish I had one of these years ago.
This is a decent inspection camera for an entry level user, and a good value for the money. Walmart price was the best in the area for similar quality camera. Probably not the camera to get if it was going to get a lot of use or if varying focal length and image clarity was critical, but for casual homeowner level inspection jobs it seems to work well. It is somewhat difficulty to position accurately, and a clear image is only possible if the objective lens is positioned in exactly the right spot, but with some trial and error it gets the job done.
I haven't tried it out in the garage yet, but I was able to see that it was time for Q-tips. :) I have an oil leak on my car and that's what's up next. For the money, I'm quite happy with my purchase...Thanks Santa!
glad to have it
made as well as other fragile equipment like volt meters auto scanners and so on - don`t drop it or get rough with it. have done a lot of things over the years from remodeling to restoring cars. ever try to hook up video cables in back of television when you don`t know one jack from another. extra eyes is like extra hands. use mine mostly in the shop in tight places under the hood under the dash. but some car and truck door glass and internal parts is some of the hardest things that i have even worked on you can`t see and working space is limited and on that the camera is gold. the camera light is not very bright so if you can get some extra light in the place your working in will be big help.
Camera display is so grainy that I can't tell what images are if the lighting isn't very bright. The led lights on the camera head are almost worthless because they aren't bright enough to enable one to clearly see the image on the dark grainy screen. In bright light the camera seems to function fairly well.
