This time I chose Frigidaire because it's a very well-known name and a very reputable name. I love my new stove I love the size, the burners, and the ease of cleaning.

Everything about it is outsbending the oven Heats up in a matter of minutes, all the way up to 500 deplease. There's six settings for the racks in the oven. I did our Thanksgiving Turkey in there. I know I've also baked cookies in there for Christmas. And I made split view soup the other day and B3 burners on the top of the oven. I think this album is outstanding for the price

It takes the place of my 1998 30" Frigidaire gas range which I reluctantly replaced when the oven unit failed to come up to temperature just two weeks before Thanksgiving. My new range saw me through Thanksgiving preparations, and I was impressed by how quickly the oven comes up to temperature. My old range was a workhorse and I hope this one will be, too. Remarkably, this one has almost all the same convenient features and a few additional ones like the continuous grate and a fifth burner. It's hard to find a 30”, all-white, gas range without a lot of bells and whistles. Not only did this new range fit the bill, but it is a Frigidaire which means reliability to me.

I Now have the ability to cut my cooking time in half thanks to that fifth burner. Pleased to say that I am happy that I chose this particular stove in my first ever , brand new home. Purchased this one last July and I am so happy with it. Five burners. Power burner, simmer, quick boil and regular. And all work as they should. The three large grates are so useful to slide pots off a burner quickly. The oven cooks evenly and temp is accurate.

Part of a great appliance package, it was an economical choice that turned out to be a great performer! The burners are all pretty even, and have good control to allow for simmer to fast boil. They work well with a variety of pots and pans, and the grates are high quality and sit flat on the stove. The one thing we wish we could change is the griddle burner in the middle, which is a small circular burner. Since it's a longer space, it might be a better option to have an elongated burner to fit a griddle and heat it more evenly. The piezo pilot lighting system works, but is a little finicky, and has a learning curve. You need to turn past the pilot indicator, so as to turn on the gas to high, then turn back to the pilot light so it can ignite the gas, then turn back to the desired gas output. It's possible that the knobs are slightly miscalibrated or just off by a little on where the labels were applied. The oven portion is gas, not electric. I know it's a preference on the heat, but I love the gas oven! It heats up quickly and the temperature is accurate. Like a gas burner, the gas output will regulate the temperature, instead of just cycling the heating element to maintain it. This leads to a more even bake. And if you're building, you don't need both a larger circuit and a gas line run to the kitchen, which can save cost! Overall, we are so happy with this appliance, and would consider Frigidaire for all subsequent appliances we buy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The free standing range works good but very disappointed that after a few uses, the black matte on burner grates started to rub off even when taking care not to slide pans over burner. The silver metal is exposed and the grates look scraped up. Also concerned about rusting on these bare spots
