Great alternative to the 64 ounce container which is very useful for individual serving smoothies and smaller batch blending. Love the machine and the containers for their convenience and durability, as well as the great tasting consistency of the blends.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Ascent A3500 blender and was getting frustrated, almost to the point of returning it. My batches just never blended the way I wanted or had experienced in my original Vitamix. For example, I especially like to make whole fruit sorbets with frozen fruit. Mine would just spin around the blades and never get smooth enough. I read some reviews about the smaller container and decided to try. OMG! I feel like I should tell my 3500 I'm sorry, it's not you it was me! I was using too large of a container. Now I get the perfect blend every time. If you make batches for just 1 or 2 servings, this smaller container is a MUST.
I bought my vitamix in September and knew the 64 ounce container was to big for everyday use. I purchased this separately to make baby food, smoothies, nut butters, green juices, tonics, and smoothie bowls. Such a good investment for portion control.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the A3500 after returning my Blendtec as my research indicated it was better at making smoothie bowls. Although the A3500 with the original container was great at making everything else, it fell short at making individual size bowls without adding too much liquid. Because of the wider base, the small amount of items just spin around the edge and do not engage with the blades. I then invested in this smaller container and I am so pleased with it. Smoothie bowls come out perfectly and now I can make things in smaller batches. I would recommend.
As an empty nester I use my 48 oz container primarily, but am glad I have a larger container when the kids are visiting.
It's the perfect size for daily smoothies when making them for two people!
I love this 48oz container I use it all the time. The 64 ounce the one it comes with is way too big.
A wonderful addition to my A3500 series! I use my 48 oz for my delicious green smoothies and 64 oz for everything else! No issues, just love!!!
My Vitamix A3500 came with a 64-oz Container that was just too big to do day to day blending. I purchased the 48-oz Container and that made it much easier to do day to day blending. BUT this 48-oz Container has water and moisture build up in the bottom blade area as shown in the attached photo. I'm am worried about this water build up.
No idea what happened. Was trying to make almond butter and the container Expanded and got all messed up.
