[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read all the reviews and researched other manufacturers before purchasing this cooktop in black. It was easy to install though the 4 bolts used to secure the cooktop to the granite counter was a little tricky because it was a tight fit. All the burners work great. I tried the automatic relight feature by blowing out one of the burners and it relit immediately. I am really happy with this purchase and the way it looks in the kitchen.

I don't know if this is normal. All the igniters stay on when using unit. I would think this will burn them out quickly. I am a licence plumbing contractor and have installed may gas stoves-cooktops and have never incountered this. Is this normal for this unit. This unit is in my home.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this to replace a 30 year old unit. Had to make the opening about a half inch wider as this is 37" wide as opposed to the 36 in unit it replaced. I do like the black finish. Easy to clean as every piece can be removed. Would buy it again.
We bought the cooktop about three months before finally getting it installed. We waited too long, is is easy to use, and extremely easy to keep clean. Our only concerns are the depth of the bottom of the cooktop and the placement of the gas inlet. Since we have a drawer directly under the cooktop we had to make a major modification to the drawer in order to clear the gas inlet. If the gas inlet was on the back of the base of the cooktop instead of under it, it would saved many hours of work modifying the existing drawer beneath the cooktop.

Only issue I have encountered so far is that the knobs are sensitive and will "click" as if they are being lit if something is barely touching. We had one day when we were cooking that it kept "clicking" as if igniting but was already going and nothing was near the knobs.
This lives up to the reviews of working really well and has a great look to go along with our dark graite countertop. The only issue we has is that the control knobs got a little discolored (a redish hue) even though we were very careful and only used water and a soft cloth.

This cooktop has had issues with the center burner not igniting properly, we had a tech out to look at it and then back to replace some components but were told it's likely just going to work sometimes and others not. We filed a complaint with Bosch who said they were going to have someone look into it and file it with the appropriate people for warranty coverage, however it's been months and no update from Bosch, they clearly do not stand behind their products, even after they charge you around 1k for them. I also think it's unfortunate that Bosch does not have a safety mechanism to prevent the knobs from working like our GE gas cooktop had at our last home.
