I absolutely love this phone!!! I switched from the LG Premier, which was an okay phone but I wanted something with a bigger screen for when I'm watching videos and pictures. I never would have guessed that I would LOVE everything about this phone. Switching was the best decision I've ever made.
I have never been happier with a cell phone. It has plenty of storage, the ease of access to files that Android users love ( drag and drop vs. sync ), the camera is great and had panorama mode now which the last model (Raven) did not. The screen size is great, the look and feel are top of the line, and it has the lowest price tag of any phone I've ever purchased. I would recommend this phone to anyone other than those who are stuck on Apple
Love this phone! Big screen, great camera, fast, n fun. The only thing I'm having trouble with is finding a case for it.
This phone is a beast... everything a phone should be..and it's very durable..with no phone case I dropped it out a moving car doing 40...had my video on so captured the 11 flips it done on the pavement.picked it up it was still recording..it's cracked pretty good but works just the same..putting it on u tube under bad idea..would b nice if makers of Huawei or straight talk would send me another for showing how awesome this phone is..just sayin
I see alot of negative reviews, but I have none for this phone. Before this I was using the LG Premier, nice looking phone but it was just ok. This looks, feels, and performs like a 700 dollar quality phone. The wifi is very fast on here, everything works in a snap. I love the camera, the memory is only a 8 gig even though it says 16, however I have had no problem with memory, most apps can be moved to an SD card and videos and music files are easy to move to it as well. I would definitely recommend this phone, is a great bargain for only 150.00!
This is a great phone. The screen resolution is crisp. Only reason its not a 5 is because it does have a lag once in awhile and is slower than most to change.
I got this phone to replace the Accend Y that got a cracked screen. The functionality of the core support functions (call log in particular) were either bad, or didn't work. The dialer worked as expected, but that is the only thing that worked right out of the box. The Good: Google compatability made the internet functions shine. The storage capacity is great! The processor is fast, as is the 4G LTE (when signal's not an issue). The screen size is large, and very detailed. The camera resolution is great. The android 6 OS let me be able to view and curtail some apps permissions that were not needed. The Bad: The inability to be able to view calls recieved in a decent manner left me looking for an app that doesn't exist ....yet. The thin size leaves it looking and feeling fragile. The screen is prone to easy scratching. On some of the more active app's (Facebook, Google Maps) the battery drains quickly. I had to go to the app store to get a keyboard that had a caps lock function. The personalization options were non-existant, expect to use the app store for that as well. I have used almost 2GB (1.95 to be exact) in the week that I have had it. Conclusion: This is still a phone, and it almost fails at being that. As a pocket PC it almost works better - out of the box. Expect to spend lots of time (and data) at the app store.
This is the worst experience of my life. This phone is slow....sometimes it won't even respond at all...I have to restart at least three times per day!! I wish I hadn't purchased this phone. I am close to my fifteen day mark to return and am out the phone cover and screen protector. Miserable and very expensive!!!!
The OS is so bloated and heavy that you can't enjoy music without tons of hiccuppy buffer underruns. This phone is slower than a snail on barbituates going uphill through molasses in January with a headwind. On top of it all, like a rancid cherry on top of a dog puke sundae, the manufacturer locks out the possibility of loading a less bloated OS that might have a chance of playing music without the hiccups and glitches. I hope I can find some poor sucker to buy it so I can upgrade to something else.
I purchased this phone and the care plan on November 27th from Walmart.com. I did not receive the phone till December 8th. The battery started overheating and it would not hold a charge for more than a few hours even when I was not using it. When I contacted my service plan they told me I had to go to the manufacture first. I did and they told me they would send me a box to mail it in for repair. And informed me it would take 10 days to 4 weeks to receive my phone back. For me that is not an option unless I go out and buy another phone. And due to health issues I can't go without a phone. I called walmart back and was informed that I could not take it back because I only had 14 days from the date of purchase not the date I received it. I will never buy another phone manufactured outside of the US unless I purchase in-store so I will have time to return it if there are problems. I would not recommend buying any phone from Walmart.com. Unless you want to run into a situation like this.
