I had never heard of the Halo sleep sack, I saw it while shopping for other baby items. When I read about it, I wanted to learn more. This is one of those things you stumble on, and find you must have it. It's a safety item, as well as a blanket for baby! My daughters Dr told her she was so happy to see she had one, and told her they are fantastic for baby! Dr also said they are recommended by most Pediatric Dr.'s! I read that also! I sugest you look up the "Halo" sleep sack, read about it, and buy it! To many good things about it to list, so go read up on it! You'll be very glad you did! Then buy it! You will be glad you did!
We saw these at our infant skills class. All the dolls had one. I loved it. Lol so i had to get one myself. They are cozy easy and durable. I recommend this halo and i will def be getting more.
Love this sleep sack, helps with my baby's startle reflex. it is quite warm so would recommend keeping it a bit cooler in the room
We have been following the Happiest Baby on the Block book and it was time to switch from Swaddling our little bundle of joy to arms free big girl. This was a perfect way to do that in fact the first night she figured out how to get her arms free and we just wrap the swaddle around her waist now. It is perfect because we live in North Dakota and sometimes the nights can get pretty cold and this is a nice heavy alternative to a blanket to keep our little one nice and warm and protect from SIDS.
When i was ordering i was hestitant at first. Wasn't sure if a small would be correct size. My daughter has plenty of growing room. It is so soft. N i love how it opens from the bottom making it easier to change a diaper. Also u can leave the arms out or in.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our baby is 1 week old today and she LOVES her HALO sleep sack. It keeps her warm and she loves having her arms out while being swaddled, so it gives us the best of both worlds! She's also very calm when we use it, so it's been great!
We like to keep our house pretty cool at night so this was one of the warmest swaddle options on the market. We keep our house at 67 degrees and put our baby in this and he is warm. Bought a second one as backup.
This fleece halo swaddle is much easier to use that swaddle blankets. My newborn seems to like it. However, we also have a halo swaddle in the cotton material that is stretchier than the fleece and my newborn is able to wiggle both arms out of it almost every time so it is less effective.
My baby girl cannot sleep without this! Her arms move all over the place, keeping her up. I love this product, she still snakes her arms out. I wish there was something other besides velcro. It's loud and wakes her up when I need to adjust it. I do sometimes worry I have it too tight though.
I bought a new fleece swaddle because I only had one and needed a backup because my newborn had significant reflux and vomited regularly. Overnight we had to take her out of the swaddle to feed because she hated being swaddled while awake and she made a huge mess while feeding. My old halo sleep sack had two zippers that zipped up from the bottom which was supper easy and convenient at night. When trying to put the new swaddle back on, trying to connect the inverted zipper at the neck of my wiggling newborn in the middle of the night in the dark was difficult and resulted in slipped fingers almost knocking my baby in the face. I wish there were still double zippers that zipper from the bottom so I didn't have to connect the zipper myself in the middle of the night.
