I bought this for my young daughter, who wanted a purple camera from Santa. I did not have high expectations regarding picture quality because it's pretty inexpensive. But, I find the picture and video capability great and I'm very happy with this purchase (as is my daughter!). I would recommend the battery charger, which I am glad I got given her frequent use.
i got this for my trip to florida and it take great pictures it had a fast shutter speed on it i wen to a zoo and the animals move fast and i got everyone i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great camera and my older daughter wants one as well when we replace the other one. My younger daughter had just got for her 11th bday when we had a home invasion and she had left out to take with us but forgot. So it was right insight and they grabbed. But we will be replacing it with the same one cause she loved it. I feel the color selection is great as well.
This is a very good camera for its size, it is very simple to use and has excided all expectations! The photo images are very sharp as well as the video images! Downloading to computer files or directly to Facebook is a snap!! Bought this for the wife as a Christmas gift, think I'll buy one for myself!!
I got this great little camera for a baby shower gift. The new parents loved it. Very easy to use. It really is easyshare. Pictures were great and easy to post. The bonus prints were a plus. I also used the pick it up now option. I live in another state and it saved time and postage. It made the gift more personal than a gift card for the item. Also if their would be a issue it was purchased from their home store.
I had a Kodak M341 and loved it! Unfortunatley, it died on me! So I was on the hunt for a new one! Ive been through 4 cameras that Ive had to return, so I was losing hope!! Three newer more expensive Kodak ones and a Cannon s1300... The newer kodak M models I felt had too strong of a flash and all the pictures turned out with a white glare, without the flash they were very blurry... The cannon's pictures were ok, but fuzzy and not clear enough for a 12mp. So I went back to basics with this one... I had an origional Kodak easy share about 5 yrs ago and the C195 to me has the same feel and takes BEAUTIFUL pitures!! Other reviews said there was no sound on the video, but mine DOES have sound. The zoom isnt that great, BUT you can zoom in enough to get a close up from across the room and it turn out great! The buttons on top are very small as well, but if the camera performs well, I can deal with that!.. Overall, this camera takes good clear shots of my four kids who are never still!! I hope this is helpful because I sat and read review after review trying to decide which camera to get so I wanted to try and help someone else out!! And for the price, just go ahead and give it a shot! I think you will be pleased! :)
I don't tend to read directions, so this is an easy point and shoot camera-good photos, nice little zoom and easy to operate and download to computer too.
I like the camera, but I wish the button to turn it on was better. It's hard to turn it on Haven't developed any pictures from it yet so can't comment on that.
To be honest, I'm not sure what to think of this camera just yet. For the money, it's got some good features and takes fairly decent pictures. However, when I view the pictures on my computer at full size, they look blurry. I haven't decided yet whether or not I'm going to take this camera back to the store...if I can find one that's better, I likely will. I have only had the camera for a week, but I've taken over 100 pictures with various settings on the camera. For very basic pictures, for instance to post on the web, it is a good camera for the price, and I would recommend it for a beginner or intermediate photographer. I have not yet printed any photos, but hopefully that will determine whether or not the camera is worth keeping. I took a shot with this camera, then took the same shot with my dad's 8MP Canon, and the photo taken with his Canon is much clearer. Note about the photos: The shot of the entire rack is at 18% of its original size, and looks pretty good. The closeup is of the bottle on the top shelf, far right and the books above it. It has not been enlarged at all, all I did was crop the photo; according to the computer, it is at 100% of the original size.
